UGB21 Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 University Question - Do football fans really care about Business Ethics in football, if your club were using unethical behaviour would you continue to follow and support them? What are your views? N.B. The question does not refer to the ethics on the pitch however such as diving, it means more financial matters or tapping up of players for example.
Webbo Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 In theory yes, especially if you're not doing well. In reality ,if we are doing well, those considerations move to the back of your mind.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 tapping up of players for example. Wish it didn't go on but since it does I wish our lot were the most prolific and best at it. I know that typifies everything that's wrong with so many aspects of modern culture but then I also believe that hypocrisy is an integral component of the human condition so I'm just reverting to type really.
Daggers Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 I care about ethics which is one reason why I am refusing to buy tickets at the club.
Webbo Posted 17 April 2012 Posted 17 April 2012 I wouldn't tap the blokes, I ain't into all that Shame, that's probably your best chance.
