Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Thoughts on this game coming up? Shame theres nowt riding on it but there is always Birch's run to look forward to . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
IdiotequeFox Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I hope we keep them out of automatic promotion, and of course, beat them, with our own brand of beautiful football. (Seriously I just hope we beat them or get something from it)
MrFox781 Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Whatever happens I want west ham out of this league. less competition for next year.
steveherbe Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Lose/lose for me. I want the hammers to win their last two games, and Saints to lose theirs, so Saints dont go up automagically. But, I want City to beat Hammers. As I say, no-win for me.
Mack Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 If I was Pearson I'd give all the players with something to prove a go in this game... The kids.. the outcasts etc. If they play well and we win the forum will be full of what ifs!?
jonlcfc1990 Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I would like to see some fringe players play tbh and i usually slap someone around the face if they say the classic "PLAY THE YOUTH" Although i think Schlupp should start i think Liam Moore deserves another luck before the seasons out i fel most sorry for him we go to palace win he gets a raving review and then loses his place big shame. Pearson should use this game wisely so he can plan his moves for next season.
foxesfan1989 Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Well as it is on Sky Sports, people will be watching. If we want to keep any dignity we have to play well and get something from the game. All the talk from the pundits will be about how we have failed to meet expectations. They will give their own view on why we haven't made it, this will probably be based on the 3 matches they have watched us this season. I just want to shut people up and send out some sort of message for next season!
1964FOX Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I am pleased West Ham can't get promoted form this match, it was clearly chosen so Sky Sports could showcase the big team doing well and they would have thought likely to be promoted or even become champions if they won. They may have also believed we could get something from it Hopefully Southampton will win Saturday and this will be an absolute nothing match. A very small piece of compensation for Sky ruining the last home game of the season.
flowwolf Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I won't be going . How dare Sky move our last home game of the season to a Fvcking Monday night ! No club should have to put up with that. It's indicative of the way football no longer belongs to us the actual attending fans , we are treated with complete disregard by the real owners of our club MONEY AND SKY. Murdoch can shove this one right up his antipodean Anus.
AlphaMaleFox Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Well as it is on Sky Sports, people will be watching... ...and listening Great opportunity for us to sing anti-SKY, anti-Murdoch chants, let's show our anger and frustration towards them, thieves of beautiful game. 90 minutes of broadcasting time to clearly and loudly protest against what really hurts and destroys the football culture in England.

If you're watching on the tele you're a c**t
flowwolf Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 If you're watching on the tele you're a c**t lol lol lol lol
AlphaMaleFox Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 We don't wanna be broadcasted! We don't wanna SKY!
jonlcfc1990 Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Everyone is all talk when it comes to this why don't we actually do something about it? Not a boycott per say but fook me a banner or two wouldn't hurt or a few chants directed to sky we'd soon get put on a black list and they wouldn't put us on TV anymore.

Yes I agree ''Satdee, we should have played Satdee, we should have played Satdee''

Timing would need to be right for any banners to ensure they were seen but yes a good idea.
chris_lcfc_85 Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Hopefully be a decent game, West Ham certainly wont sit and defend like alot of teams have this season so maybe suit us.... I think its important we try and end the season at home with a good win and some confidence plus, as you say, its on sky so we dont want to embarrass ourselves. We should all support Birch too, fair play to him! I couldnt do it!!
LCFC BEAST Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Last home game of the season, it's on Sky so let's all have some fun and make some noise for the boys/tv cameras. There's obviously nothing to play for but we need a good fun atmosphere for it. Mexican waves, poznan's the lot!

This Banners -a big no no, imagine that THEY show anti-SKY banner waste of time, but the chants... THEY would have to mute the whole game - either way it would hit THEM... I want my three o'clock back!
1964FOX Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 We could chant We were the bookies favourites, we're not any more Hammers might join in as well.

THEY would have to mute the whole game - either way it would hit THEM... I want my three o'clock back! But that's why timing would have to be so good with any banners, it could be done.

THEY would have to mute the whole game - either way it would hit THEM... I want my three o'clock back! Well if you want your 15:00 lets do something about it! it's not just going to happen, What i'm saying is if the KP gets behind this as a verbal and visual assault on sky they might just think twice before moving our home games. Look at what they've ruined on Monday you'll have an empty cold night stadium for Birch to run in (Most people will be at work still when he starts) The players parade after the match won't be see if the kids are tired and want to go home not to mention the atmosphere is very rarely a good one on a night game. So if you want it back like i do LETS DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE
AlphaMaleFox Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 But that's why timing would have to be so good with any banners, it could be done. Really doubt that. Do you know what is usually done in the broadcast van? Camera one, move to camera four and keep it... The chants are easier, more difficult to control and more powerful. Nothing to see Nothing to see Turn off SKY cameras Nothing to see!
foxesfan1989 Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 All this anti televised football business is nonsense! It funds the modern game, allows us to see games from across the globe and games at the top of the premier league. Don't get some peoples anger.

It funds the modern game, allows us to see games from across the globe and games at the top of the premier league. Don't get some peoples anger. Ruining the last home game of this season? Moving soton away Derby away making the FA CUP match early to suit the TV changing fixtures and kick off times making it harder to get to games and missing them all together. Showing that thy don't care about either teams fans they knoq our clubs will take the money because it will cover the ticket money lost and just expect the rest of us to take it! I'm not being funny but with where the "Modern game" is going we will be having 12pm midweek kick offs to suit the Sub continent markets because thats where all the money is.
