Leicester Lass Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Ruining the last home game of this season? Moving soton away Derby away making the FA CUP match early to suit the TV changing fixtures and kick off times making it harder to get to games and missing them all together. Showing that thy don't care about either teams fans they knoq our clubs will take the money because it will cover the ticket money lost and just expect the rest of us to take it! I'm not being funny but with where the "Modern game" is going we will be having 12pm midweek kick offs to suit the Sub continent markets because thats where all the money is. Just a question, do you have Sky?
jonlcfc1990 Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Just a question, do you have Sky? Isn't it obvious? I choose to use live streams on games i don't go to i have Virgin media for my broadband and calls
jonlcfc1990 Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Again i'm not joking i know both sides of the debate my uncle lives in Scotland and loves watching Leicester he met us half way for Blackpool Carlisle and Preston not to mention persuading him to come down for some home games that haven't been changed, My only point is that by changing these times at short notice (ESPECIALLY THE LAST HOME GAME) It will take away from the atmosphere the buzz and the celebration of our usual traditions of Birchys charity run and the parade post match. We all saw Burnleys travelling attendence on Tuesday West ham could be out of the race by Monday how many of them are going to come up here if it's on sky? Do the math it will be a great shame just like the limited number of fans we took to Southampton this year to watch a rare away win.
ADK Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Would be nice to try something different like playing 4-3-3, 3-5-2 etc
1964FOX Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I don't think many people have any issues with televised matches as its good for fans who, for whatever reason, can't go to matches. It's the amount of changes especially at short notice that get most. There should be a limit on the amount of Saturday matches that are moved. The last home game should always be a traditional 3pm kick off. All televised matches should be agreed at the start of the season so people can arrange things. They have lots of choice to show scheduled midweek matches using ones where the away team has a long way to travel would be better. There are ways it could be worked to the benefit of supporters and maintain Sky's profits and those of the club, it doesn't have to work against the fans.

Agree it's absolutely gutting when a game that was changed from the starting season fixtures is moved especially one you really want to go to. A weeks notice or 2 weeks is just not enough time it's unfair on the fans
Rincewind Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 for the disgruntled and fed up fans, if you do not want to go to the last game WHU I'll ease your suffering and take your ticket. Not been to a game this season so I'd like to see what you have all been moaning and groaning about. Also wouldn't mind going to the end of 6the season do. Is it just for ST holders? I was expecting it to be expensive but according to my mobile search on the LCFC site it's only £10 with food. I was expecting a lot more. Poted in here because the GC seems to be a football free zone. But I rarely come on this part so a quick reply there can't do too much harm.
flowwolf Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 All this anti televised football business is nonsense! It funds the modern game, allows us to see games from across the globe and games at the top of the premier league. Don't get some peoples anger. Says Murdoch's love child lol lol lol
lestajigs Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Waghorn and Nugent up top please. Is waghorn bk from injury then?
foxesfan1989 Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Says Murdoch's love child lol lol lol Nah i am just willing to move with the times I am 22 not 62 so I have no axe to grind or any wish for "the good old days" when every team was broke and no football was televised.
Raw Dykes Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Is waghorn bk from injury then? Waghorn and Vassell both played for the reserves today, so we might see them before the end of the season.

Milton Keynes Fox Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I hope we keep them out of automatic promotion, and of course, beat them, with our own brand of beautiful football. (Seriously I just hope we beat them or get something from it) I'd rather they went up and southampton got play offs...really don't want southampton to get promoted
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 April 2012 Author Posted 19 April 2012 Got my tickets for this game, but to be honest it is bound to be a damp squib now
Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 You just know we're going to win this 4-0. Would be typical.
Matt Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Think i'll only be going for Birch's run tbh, really, as silly as that sounds I won't be going looking for or expecting an exciting game of football, i'll be expecting exactly the opposite actually. Didn't go Tuesday and i'm so fucking glad I didn't. Thank fuck it's our last home game of torture and we're only 1 game away from finishing the season come 9.45pm Monday night. Sorry for being a bad fan and my lack of enthusiasm.
Narborough_fox Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Moore and Schlupp should start for me. We might as well give them proper game time while there's nothing riding on the games.
LCFC BEAST Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 GK: Kasper RB: Moore CB: Mills CB: St Ledger LB: Kennedy RM: Gallagher CM: King CM: Drinkwater LM: Schlupp ST: Howard ST: Waghorn
Jaspa Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Should be a decent game I think The players would've been anticipating this all season, being the main favorites for Promotion at the start. NFP & Big Sam seem to know each other rather well, as I remember from Hull vs WHU We also have Nicky Maynard to watch again
brockmyster Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Hope we smash them cannot stand them or half there players
Ashley Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Anyone know if we are wearing the new kit next Monday? Bert? You heard anything?
Raw Dykes Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 GK: Kasper RB: Moore CB: Mills CB: St Ledger LB: Kennedy RM: Gallagher CM: King CM: Drinkwater LM: Schlupp ST: Howard ST: Waghorn Yeah, maybe. Might be a good idea to put him in the shop window. I'd think NP will probably pick someone who might be here next season instead, though.
