Sorry I didn't make it clear, my point was MA and PT signing them for their current clubs.

O'Neil did that :) he wasnt a bad manager

Indeed that makes more sense then ^_^

Don't remember Delaney being awful though, he was hardly given a chance. Now he's one of Hull's key players, or so I hear...

I know a Hull fan and he thinks he is awful, that is the general opinion among Hull fans. Same goes for Lewis and it did with Marshall.

I've heard that aswell.

Heath Moves On

Matt Heath has today completed a switch to Championship rivals Coventry City for an undisclosed fee.

The 24-year-old defender joins up with former Foxes boss Micky Adams at the new Ricoh Arena after falling down the pecking order at Leicester since the arrival of Craig Levein in November.

Heath has put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal and becomes Adams' third summer signing.

Heath progressed through City's youth system before making his first team debut under Peter Taylor against Charlton in September 2001.

The Leicester-born centre-half went on to make 60 appearances over the next three-and-a-half years, scoring six goals along the way.

Manager Levein said: "We wish Matthew well and thank him for his efforts over the years."

The Sky Blues, who also have former Fox James Scowcroft amongst their ranks, face the Foxes at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday, October 22.

:D that's the stuff of dreams :P

Still, fair play to him - he's still playing football at the same level and he'll do a reasonable job at Cov I reckon.

I thought one year ago that heath would be first team now and established, but unfortunately he faded somewhat early last season.

Hopefully he`ll make a mistake against us.

He wasn't the best player but he did love our club...

Heath Cherishes Foxes Stint

Matt Heath says that he fulfilled a lifetime ambition by playing first-team football for Leicester City.

The 23-year-old defender moved to Championship rivals Coventry City on Friday for an undisclosed fee.

He left the Walkers Stadium after making 60 appearances and scoring six goals for the Foxes.

He said: "To play for my home town club was always a dream of mine when I was a youngster and therefore I will always treasure the memories.

"After progressing through the ranks, my first-team debut at Charlton in September 2001 and the season (2002-03) we won promotion back to the Premier League under Micky Adams were two very special moments.

"The fans have always been great to me and it is just a shame that things haven't worked out for me under the new management team."

As a result Heath signed a two-year contract with the Sky Blues this week and is relishing the chance to cement a regular spot in the starting line-up.

He added: "Every professional footballer wants regular football and that's why I have opted to move to Coventry.

"The gaffer knows what I am all about and I am keen not to let him down.

"But I have no plans to move away from the Leicestershire area and will always keep a close eye on unfolding events at the Walkers Stadium.

"Craig Levein now has a useful blend of youth and experience at his disposal and I think the good times will return to the club sooner rather than later.

"I wish everyone connected with Leicester City well."

Usual stuff but nice to see him thanking the club.

Good stuff from Matty and I wish him all the best, obviously a real Leicester fan, who had the great fortune of playing for his hometown team, but the misfortune of not being quite up to scratch:

Shows that there are some decent, humble footballers out there who appreciate the position they are in. I hope Heath does well for Cov, although if he loves LCFC as much as he says he does an o.g at the Walkers wouldn't go amiss!
