Turtles Head Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 Following on from el emptys ww3 thread, what would you plan of action be if it all kicked off, say London got attacked heavily, and it was clear that a war was underway? Id head somewhere rural....maybe Scotland. This isn't a serious thread, before I get shot down.

I'd grab my SAS Survival Guide book (it's got a hard plastic case to protect it from rain) and a rucksack and do the same - head to the hills. Hills with trees. And then I'd just hope that I could follow the instructions in the book and make a bed, a fire and find the things that the book says you can eat. Then I'd hope to find a stash of guns and a pickup truck so I could go and rob milk and steak from farmers and use their bath. I know farmers have guns but I'd hope it would just be a stand off and while I was taking milk, steak and using the bath, I'd have my gun pointed at him, and he'd have his shotgun pointed at me, but no shots are fired. More tips to follow If you can get your hands on a JCB, a hole boring machine, a concrete mixer, some sand, gravel and cement you're onto a winner. The sky's your limit with bunker opportunities. If you're not skilled in thieving heavy equipment then you'd have to make do with a shovel and some buckets. You can still get results. I once made a swimming pool in our back garden and filled it with water in about 4 hours while my Mum was at work.

After catching them a few rabbits to cook and bringing them milk I'm sure they would feel at home and start to do my cooking and cleaning out of love for their leader.

If you have got solar panels on your roof then weapon up now because those houses are going to be in demand when when chaos reigns. I'd get in the market for a few pistols, grenades, rifles, sub machine guns and at least one heavy gun. Hide them in your attic just in case the police or a SWAT team come sniffing round. If you can't get these weapons then improvise. Watch all of the old A-Teams (back to back because there might not be much time) and see which weapons you can rustle up with what you've got.

Go to France, or stand in 10 Downing street with a lamp shade over your head.

Coneventional conflict on a intercontinectal scale, again Russkies or Chinese? - Rejoin my battalion, grab my SA80 and a bag of frags and take my place in the line.

Captain... Posted 30 April 2012 Posted 30 April 2012 If it was a just and true war and our freedom and liberty was at stake I would sign up and fight to protect what I believe in. If it is a bun fight over oil in the middle east, I would charter a plane round up some friends, some women folk and some rum and get my ass to the South Pacific, find an island set up camp and sit it out until we have returned to a civilised state of affairs or blown everyone the fvck up.
