(sorted with Gerrbrand) Midfielders- Kisnorbo, Hughes, Williams, Gudjonsson, Sylla, Wilcox, Tiatto, Wesoloski. (one more) Strikers- De Vries, Dublin, Connolly, O'Grady (one more) Discarded players needing a new home- Canero, morris, Wright. IMO we need another wide player for the midfield, someone with pace and good going forward. Preferably a winger that can play on either side. One more striker someone with pace as our strikers are pretty slow on the whole. If we get the squad up to 22,23 then I think we have enough quality. the squad may be smaller but I feel we will have much more competition for places. The only worry theere is Craig not knowing his best side!

You are spot on with what we need to complete the squad in my opinion - I just hope CL can get them in sooner rather than later , giving them time to settle before the season starts.

I still feel we could do with another centre-back (or left-back) but we may be okay if Dublin, Stearman and Kisnorbo are both able to cover players like McCarthy and Johansson (and Gerrbrand if he signs). Ideally a striker as well but I don't think that's as much of a priority as long as de Vries gets his fat arse in gear. Tally ho Foxes! EDITED TO ADD: Obviously I haven't registered McCarthy and Stearman as trademarks or anything, they were meant to be R's in brackets to signify they might be able to cover at right-back.

But he wont actualy find which is the strongest team, for about 10 games.
martyn Posted 13 July 2005 Posted 13 July 2005 Agree with what most people say, would like to see a LB (perhaps comfortbale in midfield also) along with a 2 footed winger and a pacey striker. I think if we can get reasonable quality in those areas that the play-offs is a reasonable target.

woznotwos Posted 13 July 2005 Posted 13 July 2005 I dont think another defender is on the cards at the moment now, if we get gerbrand.....i think he'll be looking for a cheaply priced striker to bring in and perhaps o'brien at a push.........on the other hand i have got absolutely naff all right since the start of the close season. On that note perhaps another 3 left backs and a goalkeeper then!!!!!
