I can't see anyone decent wanting the job, Coventry look to me like a club dying a slow and painful death. They only squeaked past the 10,000 mark on Saturday as well. Get the choice of replacement wrong here and they could even go down again, a fate that's not inconceivable given the wafer thin budget and potential loss of their stadium.

Tempted, thing is Bet Victor seems to be the only bookies offering relegation betting and I don't really want to open another account, i'll keep my eye on the odds checking they are not shortening too much but i'll give it another couple of weeks before deciding whether to place the bet or not.

I just have this feeling they are on their arse, rumours they're going to be chucked out the stadium, in serious money trouble, had several rumours about administration last season - which can easily be believed, I can see them entering administration and that is what will relegate them is my feeling on the matter, without administration no I don't think they would be relegated but can see administration on the horizon for them and the points deduction will ultimately fuck them.

The owners don't appear to be going anywhere soon, so it's not a protest thing, but the players must find it demoralising playing in front of 20k empty seats so far (and it could get worse). They have managed to pull in crowds of 26k for league games before so the potential is there, the fans are there. It might not make a huge difference in terms of transfer funds but it could give the players a lift to see 20-23k in for a third tier game.
