dannythefox Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Play Zak wednesday if he's fit give moore a break we could do with a bit more height and experience in the team.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 If De Laet is injured for Wednesday then I imagine Moore could well go to RB with either St Ledger or Whitbread brought in to the centre.
deep blue Posted 17 September 2012 Posted 17 September 2012 Whilst I'm not that convinced by either of our centre halves the main defensive problems so far seem to be the full back areas. I think we should keep the same centre half pairing for now but I really don't know what we should do about the ful backs as frankly both look out of form or unfit or both. Moore has made a few mistakes, but the most telling ones have come from the full backs. Konch has been woeful (he made lots of mistakes last season too, which for some reason were not picked up by many supporters); he should be replaced by Schlupp. De Laet has also been prone to error defensively; some have suggested giving Moore a go in that position, and bringing Whitbread or St Ledger in at CB - maybe worth a punt. I certainly think Konch is a liability and his goal yesterday comes nowhere near compensating for his defensive frailty.
