BOOGA BENSON Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 Can someone tell me the last season this sequence of results occurred and the matches thanks !
Guest shearfox Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 Four home wins.. But nope wouldn't have a clue..
ealingfox Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 Happened to Leicester or happened to anyone? I dont know why I'm asking, I haven't the faintest either way...
Mark_w Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 According to Fossils & Foxes, Football League North (Second Competition 1942/43), West Brom (A) - L 1-5 West Brom (H) - W 9-0 Birmingham (A) - L 0-5 Birmingham (H) - W 2-1 Nottingham Forest (H) - W 5-0 Nottingham Forest (A) - L 0-4 (Don't know how it all worked during the war time though obviously - Also they appear to be cup games, but counted towards the League? Interesting none the less.) Edit: Sounds perfect for Beckford.

If history is repeating itself....kind of....it may be worth a little bet

If history is repeating itself....kind of....it may be worth a little bet According to this we were 22nd of 54 teams in the overall competition, that's not all that helpfull but the Football League system will have been different, I don't know exactly how it worked. Mark, you need to discover girls my friend and just get out of the house a fraction more !!!!!!! I know, forever alone.
BOOGA BENSON Posted 24 September 2012 Author Posted 24 September 2012 Big up to mark for his reply thanks m8 I knew it must be quite rare for this to happen to Leicester at the start of the season
BOOGA BENSON Posted 24 September 2012 Author Posted 24 September 2012 Let's hope we dont lose the next away match as that would mean searching for 4 home wins and 4 away losses at the start of a season !
Grey Fox Posted 24 September 2012 Posted 24 September 2012 We certainly have two tough away games coming up. Would take 3 points from those 6 any day of the week, even 2 would be okay I suppose. Huddersfield will go 2nd tonight, great win for them at Blackpool!
