West Brom (A) - L 1-5

West Brom (H) - W 9-0

Birmingham (A) - L 0-5

Birmingham (H) - W 2-1

Nottingham Forest (H) - W 5-0

Nottingham Forest (A) - L 0-4

(Don't know how it all worked during the war time though obviously - Also they appear to be cup games, but counted towards the League? Interesting none the less.)

According to this we were 22nd of 54 teams in the overall competition, that's not all that helpfull but the Football League system will have been different, I don't know exactly how it worked.

We certainly have two tough away games coming up. Would take 3 points from those 6 any day of the week, even 2 would be okay I suppose. Huddersfield will go 2nd tonight, great win for them at Blackpool!
