Good for kids and families to see the players in a different setting, but don't be fooled into thinking that you will see Nigel give away anything special. They will run through a warm up, some skill drills and maybe a few set pieces, if your lucky you might get a fitness test but I doubt it.

Might take my boots.. Mid 40,s two stone overweight, still quicker than steve howard and would give 110% .. May even get picked for following game

Adults will be required to sign a disclaimer if they wish to bring youngsters to watch Nigel's 15 minute nutting workshop at half eleven.

and scheduled right in the middle of 2 home games..... or is that because both home games are evening kick offs, so at least younger kids will be able to see the players again this season

Went at the start of the season, pointless and boring

I was at that one, mainly went to see the new signings and see anything Leicester during the ever-painful pre-season - but after 5 minutes it was pretty boring

At this time in the season and during such a poor run of form, I think the only point of an open-training session is to prove to the public that the team is actually training!

Sounds about right. With Birches run on a Friday night it's good to see the Club doing something

Went to the one at the start of the season which was alright, not massively exciting though as Pearson didn't get involved with the fans. Martin Allens one was much better as he'd talk through it and say what was going on etc. Also had a laugh with a few of the players.

If the club are reading this thread, that is a very good point.

Nigel often has a terse relationship with the media (missing the point that he is communicating with the fans), so this would be an opportunity to show his "lighter side" directly to the fans (so proving its the media & not the fans he gets the hump with)
