Mike the Metal Ed Posted 8 April 2013 Posted 8 April 2013 What about pre season friendless in azerbajan and behind closed doors haves against Coventry under 12s? Only if you bring pyro and treat it like the Lech Cup.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 9 April 2013 Posted 9 April 2013 Fan /supporter all irrelevant, the club sees us as customers... Cynical but probably about right
hackneyfox Posted 9 April 2013 Posted 9 April 2013 Always remember my Grandad winding me up as a kid over this, I claimed I was a supporter, his logic was 'your dad is the supporter, he pays for you both to go and so financially supports the club, you don't pay anything so you're a fan'.
MC Prussian Posted 10 April 2013 Posted 10 April 2013 I always thought fan was a bit of a vague term. Obviously, a fanatic is a deeply passionate supporter of his cause (or favourite sports), but "fan" has this semi-interest, less serious feel attached to it. At least to me. In my eyes, a "supporter" is who takes the good with the bad, someone who sees the bigger picture, knows how ridiculous football can work at times - and someone who doesn't get too wound up over a series of bad results.
Johnny Cash Posted 10 April 2013 Posted 10 April 2013 I class myself as a spectator who attends every home match and the occasional away game. I love Leicester, not the players or the manager, or the owners (who I like and appreciate what they've done for us). Beyond this team and staff I will still love Leicester but my love for football is diminishing fast.
