Club owners are expected to be more consistent, however, and bringing in Sven-Göran Eriksson, one of the most successful managers in European football, allowing him to tailor a brand new team, then suddenly sacking him and replacing him with a guy of mediocre success... How on earth do you glean that I've lost sight of what is important by stating a new manager will have to cut back if we wanted to meet FFP next year. That's a fact. As for your hero bullshit, why so certain people on here feel the need to just randomly make shit up? Because you talk as though financial goals are the most important goals of the club. They've become more important because NP has failed in his number one target or expectation and that is to be promoted.

I really don't know where you get this stuff from. From NEXT season the goals have to be met, whether you like it or not. If you want to shove your head in the sand then fine, but Pearson or any other manager coming in will need to slash the wage bill further. If they aren't we will be under transfer embargo and start getting fined. These measures are to safe guard the future of clubs like us, so yes they are bloody important. Because I'd rather have a club in this league than one in the premier for a season prior to going tits up and doing a Pompey. Your crap about Pearson failing has sod all to do with anything being discussed.

Because you have either spectacularly missed the point of what was being said, or you are purposely being obtuse. I must have missed the point - I thought the discussion was about whether we'd moved forward since Sven - You then made the very tired point that FFP means that Nigel has got some justification for his failure and that any new manager would have to abide by these same rules. My point was that FFP has only become important as a result of your hero's failure. What point did I miss???

Did we play well the first half of the season, 11 points from 12 games tells me that we played well in some parts of the first half.

Go back like one page, my FFP comment had absolutely nothing do do with Pearson. It was about a new manager coming in. Col made a comment about us having money to spend and us looking a good job to others. My comment was in response to that, hence me quoting him. That it might not look quite such a good job with FFP coming in and them having to slash the budget? It's a weird rant because you have gone off about something not even being discussed. At no point did I back Pearson, it had nothing to do with him.

As I stated, at that point we had been better than everyone but Cardiff.
