Abu Qatada deported from UK to stand trial in Jordan

What has he actually been proven guilty of ?

Our government has said that it cannot bring a case against this dangerous Qatada bloke because all the evidence against him is based on information obtained by the UK intelligence services, but this hardly stands up to scrutiny when you consider the threshold for proving incitement is low.

If you can convict someone for setting up a Facebook page, as two young men were following the riots in England last August, or that bloke who threatened to set Robin Hood airport alight , it beggars belief that there is no case against Qatada if he is anywhere near as ‘dangerous’ as the government says he is.

Our country may not be able to convict him because we are relately fair to all so the solution is to send him back to his country where it doesn't matter. He will be off our hands and we won't be blamed for the injustice of the vertict when he is found guilty.

Come on Zingari, I thought you'd know! ... Seriously, I think he was one of these 'preachers' wasn't he? There are plenty of them about though, most of them have a connection with London. Even Bin Laden lived there for a bit.

He was involved with terrorism in 2001, and plotted to kill in his own Country.

We have freedom of speech here in the UK..........As long as what you say is acceptable.

The media made this guy out as some kind on Bin Laden MK 2, but in truth his crimes are.....preaching.

I dont like what he says either, but do we really want a country where there is no real freedom?

I don't think you're stupid at all.

£1.7 million to get him out of the country! If we wanted him to leave, why didn't we just make him CEO of a large company and ask him to pay tax?

Completely cutting his and his families benefits would have been more sensible ;)
