Kyle_Le_Don Posted 9 September 2013 Posted 9 September 2013 Channel 4 drama. Anyone watched it? Thoughts
Finnaldo Posted 9 September 2013 Posted 9 September 2013 Very interesting. Can't use the spoiler thingy as I'm on mobile but it's very good, especially how it portrays what different sides humans can show when in such difficult positions. Also liked the ambiguity when it came to the perpetrator. However I would have liked to see them mention on the radio clippets about the economical impact, and probably something about planes, like the perspective of someone on a flight diverted elsewhere and see it unfold from a foreign perspective and how the outside world would be dealing with it. Felt the ending was a bit clichè as well, although I guess it fits in with the aspect of how extreme people turn in such situations. Though all in all I would recommend. Good watch.
SystonFox Posted 9 September 2013 Posted 9 September 2013 Is it available on the 4 on demand iplayer?
Rincewind Posted 9 September 2013 Posted 9 September 2013 Is it available on the 4 on demand iplayer? would have thought so also there is a channel that shows the best of the week on four. I liked how there was a gradual slip into chaos
bmt Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 Anyone know if there is any way I can access this from Australia at all?
Rincewind Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 You can try this. Going out so not checked it. http://www.channel4.com/programmes/blackout
Guest Posted 10 September 2013 Posted 10 September 2013 I enjoyed the generator dad's level of sarcasm "where would we go hunting for food? Hyde Park?" All in all it was a pretty bleak outlook but how accurate it was in what could happen I'm unsure.
