If the England National Team were a Club, they would be.....

Man Utd - Germany. Always there or thereabouts.

Man City - Argentina. Both fecking annoying.

Spurs - Holland. Play decent football and have great promise which never really materialises.

Arsenal - England. Always tipped to do well but have fell short in recent years.

Chelsea - France. Whiny bitches that have tasted success not too long ago.

Liverpool - Brazil. Both have had successful times but not so much in recent years, starting to work their way back up their respective ladders.

Forest - Wales. Both go on and on about their past. One about trophy they once won, the other about that great night v Italy in the Millennium Stadium

Scotland - Cov. Both have a history of punching above their weight but both are now back where they belong.

lol

I don't think Welsh football goes "on and on" about the Italy result and I don't think we have anyway near as illustrious a past as Forest!

I like to bring up the Italy game from time to time because I was there and it was special to me. The fact we failed to qualify from comfortably leading the group, however, is humiliating.

Up until they got promoted I'd have just compared Wales to Cardiff. Serial bottlers with a few players who should perform better than they do, punching occasionally above their weight but mostly just punching other people in the stands!!

Everton. On the coat-tails of the top sides, can beat them on a good day but not consistent enough to do it regularly or don't have the resources available to go beyond the best teams.

Yes I agree , I'd go with Everton

Starts with the same letter and has the same number of letters.
Won the cup in 66 but little else since , but are always there or there abouts.
 Usually overshadowed by closest rivals.
Never seem glamorous and can even seem quite dull despite historically being among the top 10 teams
Usually one of the lesser attractive bridesmaids at the big do.

Newcastle - last won a major trophy years ago, occasionally show a bit of promise but are usually crap. Tied up to a manager for a long time, mismanaged at board level, laughing stock at times.

I'd say Nottingham forrest as they used to be good and have deluded fans.

Leicester. Won a few things a while back, used to play at wembley frequently.

Now constantly underporform and let us all down on penalties.

Some of boths fans are pretty delusional too.

You can't really say that we are like England beacuse we didn't win anyhting of note in the past, which could compare to the World cup win of 1966.
