svensson Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 you sure its any of the above?? i'm pretty sure its "cheap pullovers".... Gutted, i have always sang, "eat leftovers"...
LCFC FOX Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 Its got to be "bad hangovers" as an excuse when we play so bad
prayforsnow Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 One that isn't particularly wrong but annoys me is at Filbo and the early days of the Walkers 'Forever and ever' used to be changed depending on who we were playing - but now in L1 it always ends being about Forest... "We'll never be mastered by those FOREST b******s, we'll keep the blue flag flying high" Where as in the old days, if we were playing Chelsea it would be "COCKNEY b******s...", if we were playing Sheffield United it would be "NORTHERN b******s..." etc.
Guest MattP Posted 22 October 2013 Posted 22 October 2013 It definitely started with 'She fell over' implying the player was a big girl. I think it morphed into Cheat fell over after Speediest dive at Wembley. Correct!
NathanBlueFox Posted 24 October 2013 Author Posted 24 October 2013 someone told me i wasnt this........ King, King, Andy, Andy King, He gets the ball, he scores a goa, andy andy king?
Dan Posted 24 October 2013 Posted 24 October 2013 Once upon a time there was a Spion Kop Where we used to stand and throw a can or two, Where we used to while away the hours, Watching the boys in Royal Blue, Those were the days my friend, We thought they'd never end, Wed sing and dance, forever and a day We took the Stretford End, We took the Shed End, the North Bank Highbury, We'd fight and never lose, We'd live the life we choose Oh yes these were the days... Isn't the bit I've put in bold not sang at all?
Dan Posted 24 October 2013 Posted 24 October 2013 someone told me i wasnt this........ King, King, Andy, Andy King, He gets the ball, he scores a goa, andy andy king? Correct. I've never heard of anyone scoring a goa.
Guest MattP Posted 24 October 2013 Posted 24 October 2013 Isn't the bit I've put in bold not sang at all? I've typed that out wrong. I was pissed at the time, it's a choice of the two sets of lines inserted, depends on which version is being sung. Dan Posted 24 October 2013 Posted 24 October 2013 I think you've mixed up two lines in that at the end as well It's a good song to be honest. Far better than the generic fad songs the majority are far more interested in.
lcfcbaby Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 I always thought it was: Leicester City Our boys in blue The terrace sings A song for you Allez les Bleus du-du-du-du (etc) But it seems I totally just randomly put in the Allez les Bleus when I was at Watford yesterday
