StanSP Posted 11 November 2013 Posted 11 November 2013 I never leave early, but Saturday I did leave after 85 mins.Sorry to sicken you mate. How you feeling this morning, better? Apology accepted. May I ask why you left after 85mins? When we're winning 2-0 at home, do you leave early? How would you have felt if we pulled it back to 2-2 and you missed that? Or better still, if we won 3-2 and you missed it all? How many goals have you missed because you left early?
Renart Posted 11 November 2013 Posted 11 November 2013 I think NP should do this before every game http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Gqwi7Y96sk (has to be done in a Jamaican accent though......)

Kitchandro Posted 11 November 2013 Posted 11 November 2013 We were never going to score. That's the way I felt as well, especially after the penalty miss. I don't see the point in leaving with 10 to go though. EDIT: actually scratch that, leaving early does help you avoid the traffic.
StanSP Posted 11 November 2013 Posted 11 November 2013 We were never going to score. Okay then, Mystic Meg. I'll ask the question again though - how many last minute goals have you missed? And if any, how have you felt afterwards?
beemeroo Posted 11 November 2013 Posted 11 November 2013 Certain players lacked real desire and determination - I'm looking at Schlupp, Nugent, Dyer - but the team as a whole was just outfought and half-hearted. I think to be fair to Dyer he had one of his off games (more rare this season than is usually the case), had a couple of really bad touches and really let his head drop. Was quite hard to watch and wish he'd been subbed sooner for his own sake as well as the teams. The problem is, we just don't have anyone else to play there.

To tell you the truth,I leave early maybe once a season, and Saturday was that day.I just felt empty after looking forward to the game so much.Bit of a twat really as I live in Clarendon Park and can walk home so I'm not even beating any traffic. How would you have felt if we pulled it back to 2-2 and you missed that? Or better still, if we won 3-2 and you missed it all? How many goals have you missed because you left early?
