Dan Posted 9 December 2013 Posted 9 December 2013 This argument is so tediously boring and lets be honest, it'll never ever be resolved. Too many dodgy attitudes from both 'sides'.
hackneyfox Posted 9 December 2013 Posted 9 December 2013 I'm worried that we could be starting to see a repeat of last season, not the results, the way we play, he seems more bothered about us not shipping goals.
Dan Posted 9 December 2013 Posted 9 December 2013 If so then that makes Saturday's result all the more laughable. First time we've conceded more than 2 in a league game since Reading in March 2012.

In fairness to him, we are scoring quite healthily, only Derby have scored more. We are letting too many in and need more clean sheets.
hackneyfox Posted 9 December 2013 Posted 9 December 2013 If we're scoring more than we concede then where's the problem? We probably have one of the best squads in the division, it's let down by NFP and his fiddling. Quite why he choses to play Was at right back for a second game is beyond me, as is the decision to start with Hammond instead of Knocky.
BNET Posted 9 December 2013 Posted 9 December 2013 I'm beginning to agree about Pearson sometime bnet (and had questions since January) Although I'll still support nige whilst he is here, problem is until you are proved right and we stay down, ultimately you will be wrong I don't want to be proved right.

No manager in the world has ever picked the right squad for every single game in their tenure. Not even Ferguson at Utd. Not even Guardiola at Barcelona. Whatever manager you pick, I'm sure there's a game or two where they've made the wrong decision and probably actually regretted it too. They send out their players to do a job and sometimes said players don't deliver. The players get most of the praise when things go right; the managers get most of the criticism when things go wrong. Why? It does sound like a general view, but for the season as a whole, Pearson's got it right more times than wrong. We can't expect him (or the players) to be perfect every single time.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 9 December 2013 Posted 9 December 2013 Anyone who attended the Brighton match, will be worried, and rightly so. It was a total diabolical disgrace. I am very worried that we will drop away, and I am sure Pearson is worried as well, Let's just hope we attempt to play some football next Saturday. I don't believe that those who did not attend the Brighton game, realize just how dreadful we were.
