jimmeh Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 Adamant Nugent is trying hard not to get injured. He doesn't go into tackles and when it's a 50/50 chance of getting the ball he will back out. Anyone else noticed this or is it just me. If he was to get injured for the season then it's unlikely he will get a new contract here or elsewhere until he's fit.

Matt Posted 18 December 2013 Posted 18 December 2013 I like Nugent but he's frustrating the fuck out of me recently - Well most of this season tbh and to add to the fact he is our top scorer is even more annoying because I know people joke about 'Ohh penalties don't count, e.t.c' I know you still need to score the penalties but without those penalties he wouldn't have scored many at all, how many has he actually scored from open play this season? Besides, what really does he add to the team, certainly of late. TBH his attitude seems almost stroppy. I've lost alot of respect for him recently due to his performance and the sob story of him wanting a new contract article. Earn a bleedin' contract if you want one that bad! Cos' at this moment in time based on current performances i'm happy to let it run out.
