Xen Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 9 wins and a draw should see us gaining automatic promotion. Absolutely mental how we could lose half of our remaining games and still be in with a good chance of autos.
ramaiya2 Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Lets see how Burnley do at Yeovill and QPR away at Ipswitch, but going from last nights performance I think we will be going up as Champions. Come on Yeovil and Ipswitch
Happy Fox Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Absolutely mental how we could lose half of our remaining games and still be in with a good chance of autos. Very true hope we wrap up automatic promotion the sooner the better, so we can all have a massive promotion party.
Munshi Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 1st, 2nd, Maybe 3rd, Maybe even 4th, Reckon we could get 5th, but probably 1st
Fox92 Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Do you mean Hunk? What's with everyone on here? The post says where do you think Leic will finish, I honestly believe it will be 7th. Not all of us change our opinions every time we get a few wins (then we are world beaters) or lose (then we are shite) We are an average size club with a below average manager, thankfully we have some good players who along with a crazy amount of penalties ( thanks Refs) are up in the top spot. How long this luck, form? continues who knows? But should our form dip, then we don't have a manager tactically good enough to gets us through it. As last season shown, this is my opinion not a wind up. Like it or lump it! ( bit like our tactics!) That is complete nonsense... We cannot help how many penalties we get. If the referee thinks it should be a penalty, then it's a penalty. What do you want Nugent to do? Give the ball back to the opposition and say 'nah mate that was not a foul'? We are top of the league for a reason. And it's not due to 'luck'. There is no such think as luck in the World, and there is no such thing as luck in football. A team that isn't as good as their opposition may beat them in a Cup competition, may scrape a win, but over a 40+ match league, the best team always finishes top and the worst team always finishes bottom. It's a league, it's all about consistency. If you don't like Nige then ok, that's your opinion. If you think he is "below average" (although we are top of the league ffs) then ok... But look at the facts, look at everything around you. He has built this football club up, and he has built a really good team. He has got rid of the bad eggs while trying to work with the finances... I get you might not like him, but you have to be pure ignorant not to acknowledge the fantastic job he has done. I just hope he can finish the job with promotion this season. Not to shut you people up, but because he is the manager of the club I love. I said the December to January period was going to be a testing time, and I said it will show if we are capable of promotion. We played QPR, Bolton, Reading and Derby who are all strong sides, and beat them all. Not just that, but we were capable of outscoring the opposition, look at Bolton, look at Derby... We were magnificent yesterday and nobody can deny us that. I've looked on the Derby forum, and those honest fans who come across as knowing about football have posted that 'they hold their hands up and were beaten by a far better team'. My pre season expectations were to finish in the top 6. Do my expectation change? No. Did they change last season? No... I have ultimate faith in Nigel Pearson but our season and form is even taking me by suprise. It's about time people like you starting being more positive. At the end of the day, you're a Leicester City fan right? Then support the manager. Sometimes it comes across that you want us to lose. If you can't enjoy being top of the league, then what can you enjoy in football?
