Beliall Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 1st. only have to match or do slightly worse than our main rivals to take the title. its ours to lose now. but knowing our luck, 2nd on goal difference
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Well, I am going for automatic promotion.
conLAD logan Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 i just want promotion! not to concerned about the position in the league
cjslcfc Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 1st. only have to match or do slightly worse than our main rivals to take the title. its ours to lose now. but knowing our luck, 2nd on goal difference That wouldn't be much bad luck. No difference between first or second really. Naturally, I want us to win the league but second has the same benefits bar the extra pride gained from winning the league.
Happy Fox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 As long as we finish in the top 2 that is all I care about.
Legend_in_blue Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 The games against the non-footballing sides at the bottom of the division are the ones we need to win. Millwall away typifies these style of games. Win these and we'll go up imo. We'll be fine against the top sides because I can't see us losing and drawing suits us considering our current points haul, especially away from home.
Finnaldo Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Can't really say yet. A good looking January ahead with Derby, Leeds, Middlesbrough and Birmingham. Should we get a draw vs Derby, a win vs Leeds, a draw vs Middlesbrough and a win vs Birmingham it will be a very good month with 8 out of 12 points. Anything above that would be amazing.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 Feeling a little queasy reading this thread - too many years of following Leicester and last year's 20-odd game run won't let me think anything like top two yet. Stats look good, but four points can be turned around in two weeks and then we're chasing again. I am really not bothered by the Cup game and just wish the league matches would keep coming while we're in form.
cuddly ken Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 We will finish 7th, you can take that to the bank!
Webbo Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 We will finish 7th, you can take that to the bank! This season must be breaking your heart.
Banks Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 We will finish 7th, you can take that to the bank! You're such a ****.
Guest shearfox Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 We will finish 7th, you can take that to the bank! Can I place a bet with you right now, £1000 we finish above 7 th?
MC Prussian Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 We will finish 7th, you can take that to the bank! What if we finish 8th?
Kitchandro Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 When little was in charge, this league had 22 teams and only 42 games compared to the 46 currently so that might not be as true to today. 24 then as well. http://www.statto.com/football/teams/leicester-city/1991-1992
Corky Posted 2 January 2014 Posted 2 January 2014 We will finish 7th, you can take that to the bank! Look, King Billy will get your boys in the play-offs, have some optimism man.
Strokes Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 24 then as well. http://www.statto.com/football/teams/leicester-city/1991-1992 My mistake I think I'm getting confused with when they shortened the prem.
Zaid Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Love a lot of stats. Really shows what a strong force we are this season. Onwards and upwards
MC Prussian Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 The way we're playing right now, I'd love to see us finish in an automatic promotion spot.
cuddly ken Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 You're such a ****. Do you mean Hunk? What's with everyone on here? The post says where do you think Leic will finish, I honestly believe it will be 7th. Not all of us change our opinions every time we get a few wins (then we are world beaters) or lose (then we are shite) We are an average size club with a below average manager, thankfully we have some good players who along with a crazy amount of penalties ( thanks Refs) are up in the top spot. How long this luck, form? continues who knows? But should our form dip, then we don't have a manager tactically good enough to gets us through it. As last season shown, this is my opinion not a wind up. Like it or lump it! ( bit like our tactics!)

If you fancy a wager on this Cuddles I will gladly oblige.
Monk Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 2nd. We are bound to have a blip at some point. QPR to win the league.
wight88 Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Dropping down to third purely with the aim of doing forest/derby/Leeds/Watford at wembley would be fun though
Zaid Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 if we got play offs i would actually cry, but looking at the way were going i would expect automatic but don't get too optimistic. yes we are top of the league and are allowed to get happy but look what happened last season
