1964FOX Posted 9 January 2014 Posted 9 January 2014 I wouldn't mind midweek myself. They'll get a lower crowd, we'll still sell out our end but I'll have a better chance of getting a ticket as some season ticket holders will be put off. Don't be too sure mate, I can imagine a similar scenario to Watford away play offs, numerous top priority people suddenly appearing and tickets going missing but with the new more complicated priority system nobody would be able to say they had been sold incorrectly or given away to certain people.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Prefer it to be midweek in a way, extra time for beer and an absolutely rammed train home.
Dan Posted 14 January 2014 Author Posted 14 January 2014 Forest to play Preston at home in the next round. Even more chance of winning that than Ipswich. So much for the benefits of being knocked out eh?
Russell sprout Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 Hope Preston win and the fixture goes ahead as normal,it's me wedding anniversary that day and don't wanna be stuck in a hotel with the mrs when I could be at the forest game!
sylofox Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 On a plus side if it's moved to closer to the end of the season we could go there to secure promotion, now that would be nice. Can't think of a worse idea myself. You would rather a few thousand see it (you may not get a ticket) Than 30k of our own fans? Also if it's a case of we ensure one week promotion and the nxt or whatever won the league I would want both at home. You do realise if we did it your way It won't be fun we will get praps 4k and at the final whistle they will all be in the pub on there second pint. So no one to gloat over just a few k of our fans.

Fox92 Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 As I said in the other thread, it's alright as Preston will beat them. Grayon wants to get to the next round and he does his former club a favour, as Billy Davies loses to his former club

So much for the benefits of being knocked out eh? TBF it isn't too bad. We play on the 25th whereas now Burnley and QPR both don't. Gives us a chance to put a bit more pressure on them.

I apologise for my selfishness but yes I would love to secure promotion at their place, they would hate it and it would please my intense hate of Forest.
Dan Posted 15 January 2014 Author Posted 15 January 2014 We're going to have an absolutely hectic March. A glance at the fixture list makes me think they'll move it to the 18th of March. I hope they knock it back three days to the 18th February.
