WhitleyBay_Fox Posted 9 August 2005 Posted 9 August 2005 He's only on Loan for 3 months (Well thats what the LM said ) 153314 Oh, I though it was 5 months. I'm sure he will still start games.

Benji Posted 9 August 2005 Posted 9 August 2005 OS PROFILE: Elvis' loan spell with the Foxes will initially run until December 31 2005. it also seems he scored 7 in 17 starts at RBC Roosendaal so he does know where the net is after all
Hitesh Posted 9 August 2005 Posted 9 August 2005 it also seems he scored 7 in 17 starts at RBC Roosendaal so he does know where the net is after all 153327 He will be on the bench tonight and i hope he comes on and scores. Puts pressure on MDV!
gurkbasurken Posted 9 August 2005 Posted 9 August 2005 Don't mistake me I think McCarthy can make an excellent centre-back because it's not ability or tenaciousness he lacks, it's discretion. There is something about Scandinavian defenders. They are always understated but mercilessly effective. Look at Kaamark. McCarthy could learn much from Gerrbrand. 153291 Great to hear that you all seem to like Totte Gerrbrand. He's one of my favourite players in Hammarby the last couple of years and I really wishes him all the best, and that Levein let him play soon. Anyone visited any game with the reserve team? Did Gerrbrand play there? Beat Stoke tonite, will you! Cheers! /g
unrepentant Posted 9 August 2005 Posted 9 August 2005 douglas and sylla and you's will b fine trust me ive had the misfortune of watchin them 4 a few years
Leicester_Mad Posted 9 August 2005 Posted 9 August 2005 i wouldnt change the backline - things were going ok until they were changed and then it went tits up!
BartonFox Posted 9 August 2005 Posted 9 August 2005 I'd go with: Douglas - I am no fan but I am far from convinced by Henderson. Maybury - play him in his best position Gerrbrand - McCarthey needs to stop playing like Dabizas Johannson Sheehan - He's a very good left back already Sylla Williams Gudjonsson Wilcox Connolly de Vries Subs - Hammond, Henderson, McCarthey, Gilbert, O'Grady

cisono Posted 9 August 2005 Posted 9 August 2005 I find Maybury is a very tenacious player sometimes let down by his own physical size. Not his fault. 153310 He certainly scared me yesterday when I wished him Happy Birthday. He looked at me as if I had just nicked the football off him!!!
Nationwider Posted 9 August 2005 Posted 9 August 2005 I'm with BartonFox and davieg in that I'd like to see players playing in their natural positions. Maybury at RB would be an obvious change. I'd not be in favour of massive changes, but as we've paid £200K each for Gerrbrand and Gilbert, I'm hoping they'll be regulars sooner rather than later? MDV and Conners up front as per.... they fannied around at bit at times on Saturday, but have the makings of a good partnership.
