Vicki Vixen Posted 2 April 2014 Posted 2 April 2014 So, are we any clearer how long Vardy is out for ?? Surprised Stringer didn't ask Shakey in the pre match interview about JV. He seemed more interested in whether Marc-Antoine Fortune was starting. Waghorn looks like a schoolboy on his way to detention for wearing the wrong tracksuit in his PE lesson. Shakey doesn't even acknowledge him.

davieG Posted 3 April 2014 Posted 3 April 2014 Nigel Pearson has confirmed Jamie Vardy’s injury may not be as bad as once thought but won’t play tomorrow #LCFC Injured Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy could return before end of the season, says Nigel Pearson By Mercury_Sport | Posted: April 03, 2014 Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy could return from injury before the end of the season Comments (0)Jamie Vardy could be back before the end of the season, Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has revealed this morning. The striker, who has scored 16 goals this season, injured his groin in the top-of-the-table victory at Burnley last Saturday and it was feared he could be ruled out for the rest of the campaign. Vardy has undergone a scan and Pearson said the injury doesn’t appear to be as bad as first feared. “Hopefully we will have him back before the end of the season,†said Pearson. “I am not going to put a timescale on it. I don’t really know at the moment but hopefully it won’t be as serious as we thought. If that is the case that is good news for him and for us. “It would be a shame for him to finish the season injured because he has made a big contribution to the side’s success. “Hopefully, we will have him back but having said that, as I always point out, someone’s misfortune is another’s opportunity.†Besides Vardy and long term injury absentee Zoumana Bakayogo, City go into tomorrow night’s match against Sheffield Wednesday at the King Power Stadium with a fully fit squad.
