Guest CityFan 06 Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Sorry I know this is an very early thread guys, but what do you think the attendance might be on Friday night v Sheff Wed at The King Power?
Larry_LCFC Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 If we beat Wigan, it may be close to a home sellout.
Socks Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 its 3 games we need to win for guaranteed promo not 2
Ashley Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 its 3 games we need to win for guaranteed promo not 2 Other teams can drop points and we win, no?
Renart Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Other teams can drop points and we win, no? Not quite. We play 2 games (Wigan and Sheff Wed) before they play again. The first chance that QPR have to drop points is on Saturday after we have played these games. Which means we could gain P on that day (when we are not playing ). Having said that, if we do win the next 2 games then the job is as good as done because that means that QPR can only draw with us and their GD is no way near ours (the difference is 20odd?). Having said that, the little P will not appear next to our name until it is mathematically impossible for us to be caught which cannot be on Friday! First opportunity for *confirmed* promotion is Saturday (if QPR drop points) and the second is Tuesday (against Reading) - this is assuming we win our next 2 games. Of course a draw and 2 wins will also do it (again assuming that QPR keep winning - I mean start winning ).
mrsizzett Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 QPR can only finish on 91 points after all games played, so technically 6 points will draw that for us, 7 points beats it..... simples
One Legged Beaver Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Go back home for the Easter holidays that day so I'll miss the rest of the home games bar the Doncaster game

Kitchandro Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 If we beat Wigan it will be the game we seal promotion effectively, and we could be officially up before we play again. It should be a full house. In fact it should be 6 figures!
One Legged Beaver Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Go back home the day after. Simples! Plane tickets are expensive to re-book though
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 26-28000 ish I would guess Hopefully nearer to 30'000 though
Larry_LCFC Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 Plane tickets are expensive to re-book though Swim home?
Larry_LCFC Posted 29 March 2014 Posted 29 March 2014 £28 a ticket, on a Friday night, on Sky and on the back of a 4-1 home defeat. I can understand why they wont sell out. They are safe already, its a nothing game for them.
