Bayfox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Last time we lost to Brighton we went 21 without defeat, That should see us safe by November at that rate.
MattyFromLE Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 We need to perk up thats for sure. I'm not particularly bothered that we lost last night, it's the manner that we lost that is the issue for me. Has that dented the team confidence? We can't not win the league now, surely?
Manjiro Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 A blessing in disguise, I think. Had we gone on unbeaten to the end of the season, I think we'd have been overconfident going into the Prem. I think last night reminded the players how an overall smallish reduction in performance by individuals amounts to a massive fail by the team. For Fox sake; we're going into a League where teams like Arsenal can lose 6-0, 5-1 and 6-3! What we need now is a return to the spirit we have shonw for most of the rest of the season and a clear undertsanding of how easily things can unravel. I think we will win tghe Championship, but I'll swap that for a long run in the Premiership without hesitation.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 They'll be desperate to atone for last night I think reading are In for a backlash
lee7 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Can't see us thrashing reading to be honest especially away from home and them fighting for the play offs. It will be another tough game. May scrape a 1-0 win.

broughtonblue Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Actually think a defeat has been coming for a few matches now, but has been avoided by the fact we needed promotion. Perhaps there wasn't the urgency last night? Yeovil thoroughly deserved their point, and could easily have won if it wasn't for schmichaels save from miller making it 2-0. We then got a goal from our keeper in injury time. Also shef weds pummeled us for the last ten mins and could have easily snatched a goal or two.
weller54 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Agree with above, and we got lucky in the burnley game!!.. With Ings, Marney, Trippier and Vokes all missing!!!
Number 6 Posted 9 April 2014 Posted 9 April 2014 Main disappointment is just that it would have been nice during our into on MOTD for Gary to say "The Foxes are unbeaten since December last year". Performances have been less stunning recently, I'd like us to put on a show for the remaining 5.
