Vicki Vixen Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Multiball - its what happens in European football when the ballboy quickly gives another ball to the (home) player to take a throw-in before the other team is ready. Typically catches English teams off guard who aren't used to dealing with it. It used to be optional for the home team in the Football League, then they banned it in 2011. Does anyone know whether this is an option in the Prem? Personally I really like it, keeps the game moving at a higher tempo. I really hate being 1-0 down at home and the away side knowing they can boot the ball into row Z because it will take 30 seconds off the clock while the ballboy retrieves it (Yeovil this season comes to mind).
Fox92 Posted 15 May 2014 Posted 15 May 2014 Only when Chelsea play. Last thing we want is to aggravate Mourinho and Hazard even more.
stripeyfox Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 We used to use it, but were subsequently banned after our ball boys were taking the p1ss with it. In Mickey Adams promotion season think
kingcarr21 Posted 16 May 2014 Posted 16 May 2014 i was really hoping this was a rule change to having multiball if the game ends in a draw. 31 balls thrown onto the pitch see who can score the most.
