Guest Posted 26 August 2005 Posted 26 August 2005 Obviously for the outgoings unless something dodgy happening like at cardiff. But it wouldnt need to have been so high if there wasnt so many ST discounts so dont try and twist it. 163464 Is it really that high? After all, matchday ticket prices haven't actually increased in three years, plus the members discount this season is greater than the £2 or whatever it was last season. I don't have to twist anything here, I'm just stating the facts.
rossporterlc Posted 26 August 2005 Posted 26 August 2005 as good an idea as any ive heard 163475 cheers, i was pleased with that one
davieG Posted 26 August 2005 Posted 26 August 2005 Glad I'm not a spurs fan:Ticket prices article 163825 Let's hope we don't get promoted then because there is no way on this earth I will pay those sort of prices. DavieG = Premiership = Retirement to the TV
Bluefoxtim Posted 26 August 2005 Posted 26 August 2005 Bloody hell £70 for one game...................................... What a joke

How much is an the cheapest adult season ticket?
Chrysalis Posted 26 August 2005 Posted 26 August 2005 Lisa what is the price of season ticket 2 years ago and what is it now, tell me amount rise or drop, then do the same for mathday ticket. Looking at spurs they are very expensive, but 3 things to consider here. (a) their season tickets are also incredible expensive at over £1300. £70 for matchday so thats around double Leics, which if our season tickets were in the same proportion they would cost over £600 which they don't. (b) the quality of football they watch at home and with it been in london are 2 factors on their prices. © DEMAND - the demand is there, if they have more people trying to get in the ground then their is room for then they can charge those kind of prices.
Rugby Fox Posted 26 August 2005 Posted 26 August 2005 Kids prices are a proper rip off, i usually go to away games alot more than home because the atmosphere is a lot better and its usually cheaper... 17quid!!

For ST's renewing there was a 5% loyalty discount (which has also been offered previously). Membership offers a loyalty discount too for non ST's The main difference has been the 10% discount if you renewed by the end of April. That option was taken up by many, but some could not afford it that early. The 'early bird' discount was already offered by a number of other clubs. The club offers it, as it means they have more cash in the bank at a time when no match sales revenue will be generated & it helps give an early indication of likely ST sales, so a realistic playing budget can be set for the summer. ST's didn't demand that this discount was introduced, it was the club wanting the cash earlier.
Chrysalis Posted 26 August 2005 Posted 26 August 2005 Ok so the change was the 10% early buy. I noticed the brochure had an example where some could refer 2 friends and buy early paying £190 for their season ticket getting £100 off in total. So is there a friend renewel scheme for people bringing friends to matches, or perhaps buy early bonus? for example people turning up for ipswich buy the ticket for Luton game whilst they there and get a discount, they get loyatly discount on top if they show their ipswch game proving they attending 2 games in a row. So they get 15% of their ticket for going to consecutive games and buying early. then they bring me as a friend and get 50% of that ticket, which I happily pay as I can afford it.
