Stuliasz Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Monthly Awards : September : Leicester's No. 23 Is Alright For September http://lcfcratings.wordpress.com Leonardo Ulloa continued his fine start to the season during September, with his performances good enough to earn him the Player of the Month award. A poor display against Crystal Palace wasn't enough to dislodge the Argentine from the top spot, as all of his team-mates also received poor ratings in the only game where City dropped points during the month. Liam Moore finished in the top three for the second month running, with his consistent performances in defence seeing him finish in second place above last month's winner Wes Morgan who rounded off the top three. It was a month where the Foxes sent shockwaves through the footballing world after coming from 3-1 behind against Manchester United to win 5-3, largely thanks to the four assists and a goal provided by Jamie Vardy. Unsurprisingly, the 27 year old earned one of the highest ratings you are ever likely to see as a result, and deservedly won the Individual Performance of the Month with a staggering 9.68 average. However such results against sides like Man Utd do not happen through one individual performance, with four of the top five individual ratings this month also coming from that game. September was also the month in which the veteran Argentine Esteban Cambiasso made his Leicester City debut. His 45-minutes against Stoke earned him a place in the top five performances of the month, only to be bettered by his performance against Manchester United which included the equalising goal. Additionally Nigel Pearson's best managerial performance during September was against the Red Devils, while the team performance was deemed to be considerably more impressive than the three points gained at Stoke's Britannia Stadium a week earlier. The only defeat of the month came against Crystal Palace, who City fans thought were the most impressive opposition faced during September. Referee Michael Oliver narrowly edged out Mark Clattenburg as the best referee to have officiated during the September matches, although the higher ratings for the latter may have been a sign of appreciation from the Blue Army for a very controversial decision against Manchester United that got Leicester back into the game at 3-2. With the only home games during October already out of the way, please keep voting during the upcoming away games! One Legged Beaver Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 Surprised Wes and Liam are rated our second and third best players considering we conceded seven goals in three games!

One Legged Beaver Posted 12 October 2014 Posted 12 October 2014 *5. My bad. Thought it was our last three games we'd played which would have included Burnley instead of Stoke
