GingerrrFox Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 ask the players.. This. It's so easy to lump the blame on the manager. The players have played dismally since Burnley as a collective. Form has slumped for some, some just aren't good enough.
ImBlue Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 very constructive.. it seems over your supporting years you have learned nothing.. give us the name of the messiah ? I think there are better managers out there. I'm not in the position to appoint them, but he fact is, there are.

MHC Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 still waiting for the name of the messiah... Tony Pulis is a much better manager then Pearson. Steve McLaren wouldn't be a bad shout either.
roger the dodger Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 very constructive.. it seems over your supporting years you have learned nothing.. give us the name of the messiah ? don.t take the piss nobody was asking for the messiah just giving it more of a go than we are at the minute Thats all. because we look like a team that is beaten before we even kick a ball lately
Callabinho Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Some of you are blaming Pearson, some blaming the players, when you've got Drinkwater, James, Cambiasso and King all starting in midfield, it's hard to try and figure out the logic. Danny is an out and out central player, why should we expect him to perform to his best out of a position when he hasn't got the attributes to do so, definitely not in this league anyway, it's like asking a fracture specialist to perform a double heart bypass, just ain't gonna work is it? At the moment we seem to be stuck in reverse, I'm not claiming to be a master tactician, put me on the sidelines and I wouldn't have a ficking clue what to do, but it's obvious that this formation does not allow us to be an attacking threat unless we play the right players, last season we got to where we are by playing to our strengths, we haven't got the players to try different formations like your Man city's and Chelsea's, or maybe we have and Nigel isn't picking them, a diamond would work if you had two attack minded players supporting the striker.
blueharmie Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I knew after they scored it's over. No way we would score today or in the last few games. It's a serious problem. I can't watch them play like this.
Matt Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I knew after they scored it's over. No way we would score today or in the last few games. It's a serious problem. I can't watch them play like this. I mentioned it last week. Against Everton you always had that feeling we would come back, we did. We matched Chelsea for 60 minutes and even when they went 1-0 up you always thought we could nick one, unfortunately they scored a 2nd, killed the game off. Went 1-0 down against Arsenal, I was always confident we'd get back in the game. Went 2-0 down v Man Utd, I always thought we could get the draw, admittedly when it went 3-1 I thought it was game over, but no, we came back, incredible stuff. Ever since then, well ever since the last minute against Burnley the moment we've gone 1-0 down you know we're not coming back, we can't fight back, not only that, we've played poor aswell.
ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 I thought I'd come on here to laugh at the morons saying "Pearson hasn't got a clue" etc etc. Well I have news, he clearly has, as he is the manager of a Premier League team. Patience indeed! what did you expect? we'd be in the top 4 challenging for Europe on our first season back in 10 years? I think the best comment I've read is "he should have gambled and spent £50m"..........you clearly don't run a business! He has a budget, a budget based on delivering a good financial performance to the business. Me - I think he is a great manager and may long he continue, even if we go back down.
Callabinho Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 The owners won't be patient though, and they will not tolerate relegation, they've pumped too much money into the club to see us pitifully slide back into the championship. Unfortunately it's a results based business, and with that, and only that in mind NP is failing. Lose to Sunderland and I'm almost certain, that it will be curtains.
chicagofox Posted 8 November 2014 Posted 8 November 2014 Nigel did not come back and give us a second chance. Just like we didn't give him a second chance. He was offered what he considered to be a better job and he took it. When you take a job you're owed nothing more than what is in your contract. At the start of next season I just want Leicester City to be playing in the Premier League. I don't give a **** who is the manager that gets us there.
