Stuliasz Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Pearson Confidence Plummets as Winless Streak Goes On lcfcratings.wordpress.com Saturday 8 November, 15:00Barclays Premier LeagueSt. Mary's Stadium, Southampton Southampton 2Long 75', 80' Leicester City 0 Leicester City suffered their sixth game without a win and a fourth consecutive defeat in the 2-0 defeat by high-flying Southampton at St. Mary's. As a result the most notable aspect of the voting sees a significant drop in overall manager confidence, with Pearson dropping well below the 80% mark for the first time this season. Additionally his match rating of 3.49 continues a run of games in which the fans have justification to question decisions made by the manager. Those who feel a replacement is necessary are still well in the minority albeit a growing one, and the rate at which patience is wearing thin is alarming. The owners and supporters alike will be demanding an upturn in fortunes soon, particularly with two of the league's worst defences still to play this month. On the playing side Jeff Schlupp's performance at left-back was voted to be better than any of his team-mates, winning his first LCFC Ratings Man of the Match award this season. Schlupp's performance narrowly eclipsed that of last week's man of the match Marcin Wasilewski, with Jamie Vardy and Wes Morgan not too far behind to complete the list of players who were voted with a score above the half-way mark. Chris Wood came off the bench and spurned a golden chance to score, which was enough to earn him the week's lowest mark. Fellow substitute Nick Powell also received a disappointing rating despite only having 17 minutes on the pitch, while Ritchie de Laet was the lowest ranked starter. While City were certainly expected to lose by most with Southampton flying high in second place, it took 75 minutes for the Saints to break down City's rearguard. However Ronald Koeman's side did generally impress and received one of the highest ratings awarded in the league by the following support. Southampton's rating has only been bettered by Chelsea so far, a reflection of the current Premier League standings. Michael Oliver took control of his second City game of the season with his first being our only away victory at Stoke. Despite the appointment of Oliver not proving a positive omen for the result on this occasion, he did put in an equally solid refereeing display. lgfualol Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 Sounds about right again. Schlupp did well, and hopefully will keep old boy Paul on the bench. God everyone was crap though.
Collymore Posted 10 November 2014 Posted 10 November 2014 I really do like this rating system. I wonder what Pearson's confidence will be at if we lose to Sunderland. It may tip many over the edge.

I've noticed that a lot are reserving their judgments on Pearson till after the Sunderland and QPR games. These 2 games will get more out of the moderates than any of the past 6 imo Funny to think manager's confidence was at 99.5% just 6 weeks ago
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 11 November 2014 Posted 11 November 2014 Two wins and Np will have his confidence at 90+ again, but not sure we are good enough to go on a run. Need to score first on Sat though
