I voted Hamilton because I have no interest in golf, but after reading what Mcllory has achieved, that is a more rare achievement.

I think you're taking the use of personality the wrong way, people always do with this award. It basically just means sports person of the year.

Posted 26 November 2014 Posted 26 November 2014 If it's anyone but Rory then it's a joke, but then again this is an award that's gone to Ryan Giggs and Zara Phillips in the last 8 years so wouldn't be surprised to see Gareth Bale win it, how is he even in there? Froch can't win it for one fight, even though I really like Froch, not deserving of it. Hamilton any other year then he would win it but when Rory has won The Open, US PGA, Ryder Cup, PGA Tour leading money and PGA player of the year.
