How Many players do the Foxes have aged 30 & Over.

I agree that if a player is good enough they should play regadless of age. So which one of our 30yr olds are as good as Giggs & Lampard.C'mon let's not get too one eyed.

Well those two were/are good enough to play in the CL for the best clubs in the world. I'm not using them as an argument for why old players are good but as a guide to the fact that old players can be good.

For us, Cambiasso has shown he is good enough, so has Wasilewski. Dean Hammond, everyone is crying out for him to be back in the team. Morgan has been okay. Konchesky has been awful at times.

Thats 4/5 30+ regulars who have done ok

There was an old man from Australia,

who hated our bunch of aging failures.

His paragraph construction was terrible,

like Pearson's tactics one dimensional.

He's supported us for 63 years,

lets hope 63 again 'til he reappears.

Starts off like a limerick but loses all structure thereafter. I'm sorry, but you're clearly the second best poet in the thread.

Do tell how you believe the team resting at the bottom of the premiership, is supposed to attract anyone as good as Giggs and Scholes, be it over 30's or 20 year olds.

They might start by playing football. Prefereably on the grass where it is supposed to be played. Instead of booting it upfield and bypassing the middfield. Maybe Nigel could get some clips of how the other teams do it. Oh and yes I do stay up until 4am to watch my team play. Infact we get all the games down here in Oz. It's even in colour !!

Wasilewski & Hammond are not good enough for the premier league. Maybe the Championship I agree. Cambiasso can be pleasing on the eye. But I will take the Aussie lad who plays for Swindon. He may not be as skillfull. But he is younger, faster and will shoot.

Cristiano Ronaldo is 30 on the 5th Feb. Get him on the Haggarty scrap heap. You aren't the author of Logan's Run are you?

Point taken & well put. But tell me just which City player or players are you comparing him to ??

Wasilewski has been our best player this season, so you're wrong there. Hammond and Cambiasso (as individual performances) have proven themselves to be far more equipped than the younger King and Drinkwater certainly, arguably James. Of our centre backs it is absolutely Wes who is fighting to keep his place, as Huth is still up to it (contrary to your beliefs everyone should be under 30).

Both of them have performed well this season so deserve to be in the side. If we tag players by performances, surely King and Drinkwater (younger players) are playing like league one players.
