  1. Can’t see anyone offering more than £200 million to be honest. If they truly want £500 million, then we ain’t being sold anytime soon.
  2. Watch him smash in 25 goals next season 🤣🤣
  3. This is going to take years. The fax machine will break on the 3rd page of the 300 page contract
  4. So what? It’s not about the league it’s about the player. A player doesn’t suddenly become worth less. By that logic you could have Bellingham in your side, get relegated to league 1 and he’s suddenly worth what, 60% of his true value? No. It’s nothing to do with the players worth and everything to do with the financial situation of the club in these circumstances. If we don’t need to sell we shouldn’t unless our valuation is met.
  5. Think we’ll cave at £20 million. Should be more but it’s us.
  6. Just don’t think there are many teams Winks would make a positive difference to. People know he’s been a knob as well. Hardly covered himself in glory and not good enough for that not to matter.
  7. If he comes I can’t help feeling the crisis will deepen.
  8. I wish him well. Thought his style of football was turgid and boring as hell. Did the job but it got painful towards the end.
  9. I think it will take us quite some time to bounce back from this. It could, conceivably, get worse. We’ll have Premier League infrastructure and League 1 money. Most of the shite in our side either walks for nothing or will be practically given away. I doubt we rustle up a competitive team and Rowett certainly isn’t the man, but he probably will be. Dark days ahead folks, darker than even we’re used to.
  10. It’s very tight now. Running out of games rapidly and no appreciable change in form. We are dire. We might survive, likely not.
  11. Fear ruins football and quickly infects teams. Good point considering, but we need wins now.
  12. That’s not what I said. Nice but predictable twist though. And I’m not selling anything either. What I said was that, when everyone was jumping up and down about the FA Cup, which was awesome, failure to secure CL for the 2nd season in a row would see our steady and relentless demise back to where and what we were. It has. If you can show me the list of prospective buyers for our club, then perhaps I would withdraw my statement - Be careful what you wish for.
  13. This all just puts me in mind of, be careful what you wish for. This exact position was what I feared and voiced here years ago. Got laughed at. Doesn’t matter now. I think we have to do something, but I doubt this protest achieves much in reality. There aren’t a bunch of potential owners knocking on our door. we could simply be jumping out of the frying pan etc.
  14. New manager bounce ain’t going to be very high, is it? More of a half-hearted flop. Yes we showed more fight 2nd half. Would have been difficult not to show some improvement over the 1st. Finishing was dreadful. Defending worse. Not sure I’m that enthused to be honest. My enthusiasm mirrors our players.
  15. The way both teams are playing this game could be over in the first 20 mins. Every other team gets a new manager bounce - except us. We love to buck a trend. 🤣🤣
