Our support has always been average at best. Back in the 90s our away support was up there as one of the best in the country, and on its day filbert street could be special. Let’s not kid ourselves though. We brought in a stupid drum in the early 2000s and it all went downhill from there. Daft clappers and copying chants from tinpot clubs like palace. many fans will continue to blame it on what is going on, on the pitch but when we do play well our support is still crap with most leaving early - The Ipswich game. we need to embrace what we are now and movie on.

Makes the odd mistake because he gives it a go and gets stuck in. Said before… Coady and the big lump think they are some great sweepers who never make a tackle and just steadily retreat to the 6 yard box. The reason we have been losing heavily at times is down to them not engaging with any players. Keep those 2 at the back we are down. Wout has to start games.

Very true. The two CB just do not engage at all with the strikers. They drop so deep. Yes Faes made mistakes - lots of them - but at least he tried to do his job. The current two sit off so much in an attempt to avoid making mistakes. This pulls everyone else out of position and makes any type of press so ineffectual. Essentially we are playing with two sweepers who like to pass the ball to each other a great deal.

I know there’s not much to go on but his team selection in the last 2 games is right up with some of the worst I’ve seen at our club. Ayew and the lazy git on the other side… what is the point any more!
