  1. I’d hazard a guess that this was a back up option should no buyers be found as surely it weakens the sellers position as all you are left with is a bunch of shit, overpaid players and a hell of a lot of debt which needs paying off. This was probably the “shit, we are about to go into administration” plan.
  2. Re St Andrews, it’s widely reported that they paid £2.5m to repair, our Maquary loans based on Premier League money that we won’t even earn 10% of will be around £120/£150 million. You really can’t compare the two. The last part around sentiment/heritage, billionaires don’t usually become billionaires by acting on emotion. They will look at the cold hard facts, which in our case are that you need to spend the best part of £200m just to get us back level, which is the key difference between any of the clubs you mentioned and us. Dont get me wrong, someone might do that and find a way to recoup that initial investment, but it’s how they would do that which has got to be a bit of a concern and something you would expect the foxes trust to be all over should a takeover happen.
  3. These are the big issues right here.
  4. Some few days though that. MCR were brilliant when I saw them on the Friday, fully reminded me why they’ve been my favourite band for the last 20 odd years.
  5. May the last post be me googling who HSV were and the top result being this? Thanks
  6. England might be playing there in mid November, it sure if that makes any difference but I thought I would mention it. Seville is nice, if you are looking to stay near shops then I recon bang in the centre is what you want.
  7. But being more specific, how many have borrowed against premier league money and are in league 1, or the equivalent drop in income wise.
  8. It’s that last paragraph that’s the key bit. We satisfied Enzo with the same and then back tracked. We’ve got past for starting off by doing what has been discussed and then quickly doing a U turn and ****ing the manager off. He’s still not spend a penny, if he’s been promised money as per the reports then I’d be starting to question whether it’s happened again.
  9. It’s stupid in the context of people asking which individual or organisation would take us, but not really in the context of are we an appealing purchase.
  10. Tbf they do still need to find a buyer, and no other club will have Maquary loans to repay, so I still wouldn’t bank on it being straight forward.
  11. I’ve just burst out laughing at my desk.
  12. Hopefully it being used to settle the debts. We’ve defo done a number on Martin haven’t we,
  13. Summer of frees, players sold to clear the Maquary debt which will make us much more appealing. I’m not necessarily against that, providing the final step is selling us to a good owner who isn’t going to asset strip us this might put us in a good place.
  14. Because it’s literally news. What you have said above is speculation and also, very contradictory. If they can’t sustain more than 1 season in league 1 why wouldn’t they sell?
