Trav Le Bleu

The Return of the Trav Le Bleu Radio Show

Recommended Posts

Sorry mate, only just seen it... maybe next week.

Or did you mean for the magic, myth and monsters? As I'm championing Myths, then it's a no - that's for one of the other two DJs to choose 8 tracks (Magic is being championed by Dear Maria, one of our Scots female DJs)

For anyone who wants a sneak peek at the tracks I'll be using tonight to champion Myths...

Orpheus - Ash
Venus In Furs - Velvet Underground
Deliverance - The Mission
Eldorado - Neil Young
Avalon - Roxy Music
Persephone - Cocteau Twins
Elysium - Portishead
Tiki God - Waste of Aces

I reckon that should win it for me.

Tonight I will have a returning feature; Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Some Blues. What it says folks - 4 tracks back to back, an oldie, something very recently released, a cover version (borrowed, right?) and some blues. Tune in to find out what it will be from now until 8 pm (GMT) on http://www.regenradio.net

Tonight will be my last show of the year (probably) - I get too stressed this time of year with work to put in a regular commitment. So I've decided to feature bands that I have seen live, so we have got REM, Pixies, Interpol, Ash, Pulp, Fleet Foxes, Kasabian lined up, to name a few. Join me at 6 on http://www.regenradio.net

Back again after the Chrimbo break, tonight I have some James, Savages, Pavement, Mott the Hoople, Nine Inch Nails lined up, amongst many other great tracks. Also looking at some music from games I've been playing recently. If you haven't played a video game in years, or never played one at all, you might be surprised at how good they can be these days!

From 6-8 at http://www.regenradio.net

Just kicked off tonight with some Electronic, with lined up.... Pixies, Deep Purple, Deap Vally, Echo and the Bunnymen, Savages, Space, Magazine, Marvin Gaye, Primal Scream, to name a few.

Not forgetting La-bibbada-bibbada-dum, of course!

All on http://www.regenradio.net

Oh, and you've just missed the Pixies and The Bunnymen

It does get saved by default to my PC as a MP3, but I don't post it up anywhere.

I have in the past done Leicester City specials and gotten a few listeners from here. Shen also DJs on the same station (he's on at 10 tonight), so maybe we should do a City night some time... say if when we get promoted.

Not going to the match? Bored of Stringer and Youngie's prematch banter? Try my show (as DJ EJ) from 6 to 8 (okay, so it overlpas the match a bit!) at http://www.regenreadio.net . Lined up for tonight - Faithless, Parquet Courts, Tom Waits, Roxy Music, Hot Chip, Rage Against The Machine, Human League and Tricky to name a few.
