Kelly in hunt for premier player

Recommended Posts

To be honest, there is all this speculation about who it is, but I can imagine most people would be horribly wrong. I bet he's a player who has been nowhere near the first team for months and is playing at a club who have no injuries or suspensions, so they're sending him out to keep match fit and happy.

Last night the talk was about Stefanovic, Dickovhead and Todorov! Don't know how true but believeable, not exactly lighting up their respective teams and all would do a good job for us.;)

I would agree with you there as Todorov is a goalscorer, dickhead can run all game. And stefanovic looks pretty solid when ive seen him play for pompey.

Dickov was always a good player for us! I know he scored goals but he was and is not prolific enough at prem level!

I remember vs Man City when he missed the pen I just knew he would miss it. I think he falls into the too good for champ not good enough for prem cat!

The player is Shaun Newton - he's in the squad today (on the bench) but has only made 4 appearences all season, 1 start and 3 sub apps. Link

And also it is obvious Kelly isn't happy with the right midfield as Yeates has been replaced, so it is definitely Newton.

And just to confirm it is Newton:

City were foiled yesterday when a Premiership side delayed a loan signing because of their injury problems going into a vital game today, but that might still happen next week.

Charlton v West Ham is definitely a vital game for West Ham

How does that prove anything?

It ticks more of the right boxes than any other name put forward.

Oster at Reading... because Convey is out for the season.

With Thomas, he's come in for an injured player and he's playing part in a very vital match at the bottom of the table.

Etherington?

I'm not saying that it will but I put him forward as experienced. Left winger..

I won't be too happy if it's Newton. We could certainly do better.

I`d be amazed if a club like West Ham were to let a player go out on loan in there plight. I know they bought Boa Morte but Etherington still features for them, albeit not too well and the fans are on his back big time. Shaun Newton would be a stinker but I think it may well be him myself.

I think it is a West Ham player because on Match Of The Day it said that West Ham had a lot of injuries in the week and players were coming into the starting line up, they also had a big game against Charlton?

Well that's my theory
