It's 167 miles ground to ground with 2 lots of roadworks that limit you to 50 mph for several miles,if you leave at 4pm you will almost certainly get delayed south of Nottingham at 23A on the M1 and then just north of Leeds on the A1M,you should make it but it will be close,I know because I travel up to Durham once a week! The re-scheduled clash with Pools was due to go ahead on Tuesday, January 6 but United officials had failed to get the necessary agreement from Cleveland Police before organising the new fixture. The original date of Saturday, January 3 had to be postponed due to both sides' involvement in the FA Cup Third Round. Once the error was recognised, Hartlepool United contacted the Football League and Leicester City to make arrangements to secure a new date for the game. I had three days booked off between x-mas and new year and moved it around so I only had two days off over x-mas and the day of the Hartlepool game. Will just have to cancel the 6th January holiday now but won't be able to book that day over x-mas again. You would think that clubs would know how to rearrange a fixture by now!! It's such a basic error as well which is the annoying thing! Standard procedure that clubs have to do every single game and yet it was overlooked for this one. I suppose the only positive you can take Leese is that you've made it up there already this season and saw a far better game than the league game will be. Scant consolation I know but I'm trying!
