The key should probably be making it easily accessible to everyone before we get too serious about how good the facilities or the pitches are. Unless anyone has a big problem with where we played last time or a suggestion for somewhere close to the city center that's better / cheaper? St Mags is in walking distance of both bus stations and Walkabout (the walk might actually do you some good avoiding cramp, eh Smuts?), the pitches are 'okay' and I think we've only had to pay like a quid or two each to play there the two times before? **** As an aside - if anyone fancies stepping up to ref (one, possibly two people with the numbers we have) could they send me a PM? Obviously you can't help it if closer to the time you have another commitment but please can you not volunteer to ref if you're only going to pussy out at the last minute. Think isaidno did a great job last year despite a few little moans and got a well earned pat on the back from nearly everyone there.

Like I said, we can consider alternatives to St Mags if there are decent ones handy to get to from the city but somewhere like Lutterworth might be a bit of a mission in terms of organizing transport for everyone.

Walshie makes a couple of hundred odd mile round trip to come to a lot of these events and gets on with a lot of the pub crowd afterwards. She was just having a joke about us moaning about the distance to Lutterworth when she has to drive about eight times that one way to get here. Not only that but she's even offered up a little something alcoholic for the winners of the six-a-side should she make the trip. Banter's one thing, mate, telling the woman to flat-out fuck off to another thread because she made a half-hearted joke is a tad too far.

Well maybe if she had said that instead of saying tragic to what I said then maybe I wouldnt of flew of the handle. I dont care if people think I am out of order, in all honesty I dont get along with her so if she wants to try and be smart and say tragic to what I said then I will say what I want. How was I supposed to know she was joking? If she doesnt want to be 'insulted' by me then put me on ignore. Seriously because I cant be arsed to read her smart comments towards me anymore.
