Finnegan Posted 10 May 2009 Author Posted 10 May 2009 I think it's safe to say St Mags will be it. Which pitch we get largely depends on price and availability on the date we pick. I seem to have picked this up and run with it but I don't really want to be lumped with organizing it all to be perfectly honest - if other people want to suggest a few possible dates I can whack a poll up but as someone with very few demands on their time ( ) I'm pretty much okay with any date.
Sparky Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Ok so are we deciding on the middle artificial grass pitch at St Mags? Its wank mate , goals are too small and ball keeps going on to grass and concrete areas

Taking into account the dates people couldn't do/would rather not have that they posted in the thread, either June 27th or July 4th would fulfill most peoples requests.

I was on holiday last year, so I don't know the date you guys did it on but I would have thought around the same date again would be ideal. As long as it doesn't clash with Sparky's wedding Late June maybe.

Guest Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 As a spectator, hoping for the full corporate hospitality package, June is a no-no. As would be 4 July.
Uncle Albert Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Why not end of may??? The Saturday before Bank Hol? Great shout.
Bert Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Ok so are we deciding on the middle artificial grass pitch at St Mags? Its wank mate , goals are too small and ball keeps going on to grass and concrete areas Correct. Shame you can't please everyone really.
Bert Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Why not end of may??? The Saturday before Bank Hol? Gives us 2 weeks to sort.
Uncle Albert Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 2 weeks will be enough time surely? If we can find someone sharpish to contact St. Mags and book the venue. I'm sure once we have that alot of people will confirm if they can and cant play, then we take it from there in organising the teams etc.
Asha Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Why not end of may??? The Saturday before Bank Hol? The 23rd? 'Tis Maybes' birthday.
Katy Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Is the Talking Balls games not the day before the Bank Holiday though? Or have I missed something?

Uncle Albert Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Is the Talking Balls games not the day before the Bank Holiday though? Or have I missed something? Yea just realised that. The week after? I think we should do it sooner rather than later, means we will be able to get more people involved. Doing it later on towards the Summer holidays means people may not be able to come because of holidays.
Maybes Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 The 23rd? 'Tis Maybes' birthday. Thank you Shaun Loft paintballing?
Uncle Albert Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Thank you Shaun Loft paintballing? I'm ruled out mate the amount of stuff I am forking out for over the next 8 weeks is rediculous. Sorry mate.

Maybes Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Well now you mention it But why would one want to go on their own? Be boring. Oh my days.
Granno Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Well now you mention it But why would one want to go on their own? Be boring. I'm going there on my own, but socialising, is it a new concept for you or something?
Finnegan Posted 10 May 2009 Author Posted 10 May 2009 Well now you mention it But why would one want to go on their own? Be boring. Er... I don't get it. You won't be alone. There'll be fourty odd other people there. You meet people, get talking... I didn't know anyone who's going to be there before I started posting on Foxes Talk.
Corky Posted 10 May 2009 Posted 10 May 2009 Well now you mention it But why would one want to go on their own? Be boring. But surely you'll meet FTers there, so you won't be on your own whilst there, just on the journey?
