At the very least you’d like him to be our top earner and captain at the top of the championship or hopefully a middle-ish earner as we travel to Brighton back in the PL after he’s played a major role in our return.

I’d have no problem with us offering him 3 years at 60K p/w (including app fee and g/a) with the OPTION of a 4th year. It is a bit weird that he’s still clueless though unless it really is a case of him and us waiting for the right moment?

Forest got 20m for that Greek goalkeeper and some ridiculous fees for players they’ve sold to Botafogo and Lyon so if they could just kindly pass some of this to us for VK that would be grand.

50k p/w would be a lot less than Vesty, Winks, Ricardo, Soumare and Daka and about the same as Skipp and Hamza. Souttar isn’t far off. We need a leader and he fits the bill. Average wage in the championship doesn’t really mean a lot to us as we aren’t an average championship club anymore.
