I’ll just repeat my earlier comment on a different thread: I think he’s extremely lucky to be landing this job. After the loss to Plymouth his stock was very low, the run of form, stubbornness and consistently being out managed by average football league coaches was really quite tragic. The characters in the squad stepped up and we got over the line. The West Brom and Southampton games got it done and were not Enzo-ball. Ciao. Hope the new manager brings a full coaching staff with him, Enzo certainly lacked that too.

If it’s going to be a possession coach then Knutsen and Corberan fit the bill, as does Carrick. I especially like Corberan as he is flexible and can play low blocks and play direct football. He mixes it up with 3 and 4 at the back in the right scenarios.

Corberan and Knutsen are shouts. But cut the faff and settle the ship, Moyes.

I wouldn’t judge Cooper by that mad season at Forest. His Swansea and Forest sides in the championship played some lovely, fast counter attacking football. He did the same with the England youth set-ups. The madness at Forest was not what he wanted.

I’d rather lose him now for decent money than have to sack him mid season or he inevitably leaves following either keeping us up or taking us down. If it’s happening get it done. Get Cooper or Corberan in, with his staff ( still think Enzo was short a coach or two).

Graham Potter would be ideal but not sure he would come. Corberan would be good. Steve Cooper an option. Certainly not Moyes though, completely the opposite style of play.

Noooooo. He was all over him and the injury scuppered his plans. He made it clear with last years pre-season comments. Vesty’s form kept him out, neither are suited to the LCB or RCB…has to be central of a 3.

I want him in the middle of our defence next season and leading the team out not selling or loaning him to some has-beens in the championship 😂😂😂 Its going to be a fight, we’ll need him.
