Coalville had a corker today. 1-0up, playing nine men and the Royston keeper equalised in the 97th minute

Interesting that club of great socialism and proud political stance Liverpool are the last of the English clubs to comment
-
Man City given £150m and the lowest club given £100m

Decent bowling alley near the train station called East Street Lanes. Lane 7 as well. Roxy Ballroom is good too albeit kids aren’t allowed in
-
Manchester United have publicly said they have no interest in the competition. It’s more about Barca, Real and Juve with their financial situations
-
Okay maybe it is. Maybe I’m misguided in thinking that clubs getting selected more due to their relative size and therefore more of a slice is poor - but I honestly don’t think having clubs in charge of policing competition is a good thing. Yeah I can’t deny the PL works as an organisation to get its money worth but I think it’s caused far more damage to the wider football pyramid within England.

Dunno a £50million advantage over everyone else is handy isn’t it?

Landsdowne pub in Canton, the best in my experience. -
Makes me giggle the security line because the only games they allowed general sale were the European ones in 21/22. This led to PSV, Napoli, Legia all having supporters in the Leicester end. Thick as mince

Slice increases further on the new domestic TV deal
-
Top support that
-
Irony being of course - there’s no harm in having a membership that entitles you to those benefits and priority over others but to be the preceding qualification to buy a ticket is plain wrong
-
Yes. I’ve helped out a few foreign lads recently. Have to enter in a shed load of details for them etc. Tbf an actual early walk out would be quite symbolic given the players and coach make points about it
-
The decision makers for this sort of thing are completely manufactured of the corporate world. We’ve got some many middle managers what have nice looking CVs but absolutely zero interest into actual football
-
It’s massively supposedly I was told. They did not like the reaction to Ranieri’s sacking
-
You mean a structure where the big six get by far the largest slice of the TV deal?
-
Klopp needs to look a bit closer
-
Yeah they are crap but we’ve seen how bad a competition managed by the clubs is in the Premier League. For example if you look how UEFA dish out the TV money compared to PL
-
Reading a bit deeper it appear there is no major financial backer. A22 started by telling clubs they had hard cash but couple of funds pulled out and then that’s changed to a confidence that the streaming model will deliver the cash. But then their big USP is it’s going to be free to air. Well it simply can’t function then. The world’s economy is shrinking and multi-nationals can only back ‘one horse’. It looks fairly fantasy stuff
-
Very much where I think the inspiration comes from. Euro league come to a standstill though - trying to invent interest now for franchises to freshen it up
-
Legally can’t enter this competition
-
The latest proposal is a replacement for the UEFA competitions. Domestic league stays in situ. What it would mean is if Leicester won the league again we’d end up in the ‘third tier’ of the Super League.

My negative side I’d be surprised if they don’t score as they will go direct where they can
