  1. Gordon soon got that transfer request in when Dyche turned up
  2. Because Watford were in financial difficulties given Dyche little choice but to use them players
  3. Rangers as clueless as us then.
  4. Come off it. Five minutes he or there ain’t putting players into first team football.
  5. The board are idiots - we already know that
  6. With that note I’m amazed how high some of them are
  7. Hardly an attractive list of talent and creativity there
  8. If we park Watford cos that was six months, do we have how much time these lads spent on the pitch?
  9. My other take from Dyche woukd be that he’s only developed one attacking player and he must be the most Bolton esque winger post 2010.
  10. I’d imagine some of the difference would have been made up by the One Day semi final. Obviously not the majority of it but a decent chunk.
  11. I couldn’t think of anything worse
  12. Bizarre notion that this season gives them a base for the next. Incredibly naive. For every Villa, there has been a Leicester or West Ham or Wolves. Doesn’t acknowledge that two of the big boys have had bad seasons. So that’s them down to 9th. Throw in the statistical mean now levelling off - they end up in that group of clubs like Brighton et al. Then you can see Murillo leaving and the need to find another striker. Squad depth is a killer. They’ve got to start pulling rabbits out of the hat then. Clubs start to become a bit coy dealing with you once they know you have money. They are good at spotting deals rsther than players but you won’t see them get a player in the type of Hudson-Odoi that cheaper again. I don’t think it’s dawned on them how big missing the CL is really. Europe given its new extended nature isn’t the pull or prestige it once was
  13. They were young but the point is that right now we need to show a clear pathway of players from 17 to 19 yr old bracket (like many clubs do). Asking Monga, Evans, Page to go on three loans until they are 22 won’t keep them. They’ll be gone. It’s long time the club changing its strategy in way Arsenal have recently for example.
  14. In which case we have Motsi, Page and Alves also. Page selected for England under 17s euro squad today and apparently a superb attitude on the lad as well
  15. The sort of soft puff piece managers do when they are out of work trying to get their name about for a job
  16. He’s approximately fifteen years in management and shown zero trend of taking players from the 17/18/19 bracket into first team football. Generally when you have that amount of time at a club it’s become self fulfilling. Young players don’t see the path way, so why join a club managed by Dyche? The same scrunity hasn’t been afforded to managers correct. That’s because for the first time in umpteen years we have numerous players capable of the jump up and therefore you’d think you want a manager whom has a history of taking a risk developing players from that 17-19. Even more so attacking ones given that’s where we are a lot stronger in the academy currently
  17. Branthwaite had a season at PSV before Dyche played him. Tarkowski had played over 100 games for Oldham & Brentford. Collins had done nearly 40 for Stoke. He would be exactly like our youth policy is now - ie. these players need to do a season or two elsewhere before Dyche would play them.
  18. Think Tigers were conscious of going with 1 and gone route again. If they had decided to do that, it was going to lead to a bed-in period.
  19. Your point about developing players is fair - albeit there seems to be a certain type of player there. Very little skill, agility - the sort of products Seagrave is producing at the moment. Although looking at four of those players alone - there's a combined total of 250 league appearances before they'd even arrived at Burnley.
  20. Hit us then with what young players he's brought through outside of McNeil.
  21. Kotor is a very good choice. A stop off in Herceg Novi may be. My memory was that driving was fine - roads good quality and not that busy - just the occasional continental hot head.
  22. You can do it as a relay (5 x 5k) and a team run (a course around the Olympic Park you do together). Obviously argument over who finishes at the Olimpiastadion on the relay tho. That's a good way of doing that event and still having a good weekend enjoying yourself.
  23. That's the most Turkish Leicester football club ever. Eyupmeduckspor
  24. Tight everywhere - there's a spare CL place with four teams trying to get it while 3 teams close at the bottom with two relegation spots. It says how tight it is because next weekend I think all bar two Serie A games are being played at the same time.
  25. Part of it is the Winks/Vestergaard stories. The Overlap and 606 have spoken about it. Clearly the stories have got out in footballing circles about the players being utter arses and their close relationship with the owner.
