We can’t because we’ve given most of them long term deals on silly wages. I think about 5 players are out of contract in the summer. Who’s taking people like Vestegaard off us? He’s on about 50/60k a week and has 2 and a half years left. He probably will refuse to move again like he has in the past.

Let the man leave gracefully in the summer. He should have been a rotated squad player 18 months ago the fact he’s still our main man speaks volumes about the recruitment. The club has let him down massively.

How is this continually having to be explained to people over and over again? I think it’s easier for people to blame FFP/PSR rather than blame Top, that can be the only explanation. We sign the players, we scout the players, we give managers and DoF complete control to do so, we let players leave on frees, we continually sign crap on high wages. How is any of this FFP/PSR fault? If you gave this club a 100m budget in the next 2 weeks I’m fairly certain we’d probably still be relegated, we genuinely would just sign even more crap.

100%. This is why we’ll always be struggling with FFP, PSR, etc. We sign dross on long contracts and get stuck with them. You’ve got no chance of improving long term because you’ve got both hands tied behind your back.

We have got the most pathetic spineless fanbase in the country, I’m genuinely embarrassed. We could be in League 1 in 18 months and we’d still be positive and clap the board.

Mate I wouldn’t even bother, start preparing for life in the Champ, save the money or make signings ready for that league. We are down.

I thought we had an ok squad but with 3 big players missing we look terrible. We need about 3 signings, just not gonna happen.

There’s nothing about this team at all, it’s pathetic.

Won’t be available till Spurs will he? If we fail to take 4 points from Palace and Fulham then we’ve just done ourselves no favours as per. Always vital to get these players in early yet we piss around until the last week (or last hour) all the time.

Do you see us winning anything else under this ownership? Who’s more likely to win a cup in the next 5 years, us or Brighton? You’ve stated we were lucky, so how does that support being pro KP? A touch of luck and we won something so now we should stick with them even if they are poorly running the club and take us down twice in 3 years?
