  1. Exactly i can't imagine there will be rush for tickets when play home to one of Under 23 sides at the KP. You could be looking at a crowd at the King Power around 2,000. For a first team Leicester game!
  2. Alot of pressure will be on Arteta if they bottle another title, he would need to start next positive to stay in the job. I can't see many Arsenal fans wanting to stick with him if he fails again.
  3. Arteta cannot handle big games as we seen in the league cup final, i think going into these sort of big games he stresses the team out to much. The team can feel the manager's pressure and doesn't help. This where you see the difference with Pep going into big games, he tries to act cool and calm pre match and losses his rag if the team are playing really poor.
  4. So maybe this season, we could see Arsenal bottle the title again, Chelsea miss out on champions league and Tottenham going down
  5. Meh rather win the fa trophy than efl trophy, sorry it's competition i struggle to get excited about. I get it means a lot to some efl clubs who may never get the chance to play at wembley and win a cup. But for Leicester to go from playing in the champions league to winning the fa cup to then suddenly playing in a EFL Trophy final is come down. What makes it worse Under 23's sides play in it also, imagine Leicester v Nottingham Forest Under 23's Wouldn't be so bad instead of Under 23's playing in this championship clubs playing in this competition also. In fact I reckon they would be more interest if that happened.
  6. Forest have Burnley next, so huge chance for them to pull away.
  7. Couldn't write it if Tottenham go down and maddison ends up going back to Coventry on loan.
  8. James Maddison cut his toe nail out for six months. Might make sudden recovery come the summer if Tottenham go down and wants a move away.
  9. Commentators just act so depressed like they want us to feel sorry for Tottenham, why? no club as the right to say there too good to down. if your team aren't doing very well and they don't win games they deserve to go down. Spuds going down, is good football it shows you that money doesn't always buy you success.
  10. Get in Sunderland, operation send Spuds down is on.
  11. Pleased for Harborough Town, one interesting stat I believe there the first Leicestershire side to reach step two of non league since Hinckley United in 2012. So good for them. Some good away days for them to look forward to next year. Nuneaton Town (boro) finally clinched league title yesterday beating Northampton Sileby Rangers, nice little ground they have. So the Boro in now step four likely going into Northern League Midland Division one. Some decent derbies awaiting next year. Interesting the United Counties League South still have another round of fixtures to go despite Boro playing there last game yesterday. Think it's safe to say it's between Coventry United and Atherstone Town for that next promotion spot. Sadly bad news for Barwell, relegated yesterday.
  12. Not bothered if Forest stay up, seeing Spuds or West Ham go down is bigger laugh. Plus premier league has enough London clubs, even more so if Millwall go up.
  13. Tottenham in the bottom three with just seven games to go, please let it happen. It certainly distract the attention of our possible relegation.
  14. Harborough have developed quick and fast, showcased true potiental of late. National League North will be tough, alot of clubs with bigger fan bases and bigger budgets. You need good income to survive in that league for sure. You think about it your only two promotions from the football league.
  15. Blackburn Rovers perhaps.. premier league champions in 1995 and relegated three years later.
  16. Boro just need one point to clinch the league title and for some reason we have made are right meal out of that. Lost 0-2 to Atherstone and then just been battered 0-3 at Coventry United. No win in six I believe, for a really good season ending it on a whimper. Go to go to Northampton next saturday and hope we do the the job there. As some fans have pointed out a lot of decent players have left over the last few months and we haven't really replaced. The ones brought have been good enough. Shame the last two games have seen a huge increase in crowds, 1,500 at home against Atherstone then, over 500 travelled to Coventry today.
  17. Surely could find another team to follow in the wc... England perhaps. Or maybe one of the minows.. maybe new zealand would be good one to look out for.
  18. Don't mind Friday night games usually but with my new job not finishing till 5pm its a big rush. May have to persuade my manager to work from home that day.
  19. Alot of early am games, stock up on coffee then.
  20. Do you think there's clause in Tuchel's contract, if England got somehow knocked out in the group stage he could depart his contract early. I know 2014 Hodgson should have been sacked for England's early exit but the FA choose to stick with him for two more years, to face another humiliation.
  21. Is there any non league club you feel have the potential to be able to compete in the EFL in years to come, I always feel like clubs like AFC Telford United- for example great stadium and good fan base Worcester City- Quite a big place not to have a team in the football league, decent fan base and of course currently playing at the impressive sixways Kettering Town- Historically another club came close many times, let down by the old election system we had back in the 70's and 80's. Rockingham Road a decent ground back in the day, better than the current ground. A better stadium for Kettering Town they would have serious potential. Dulwich Hamlet- Of course attracting huge crowds.
  22. With Iran not going, wouldn't rule Italy being offered a place in. Be proper controversial.
  23. Fifa will be devastated that Italy didn't make it, as they always travel well and of course a huge amount of Italians living in the US will be disappointed not seeing Italy playing in there own city.
  24. Imagine no world cup for Italy in decade. Italian football must be in such a bad place at the moment to miss on yet another major tournament. Can't really call them a power house no more.
