More noise at a sunday league game, terrible from the london brigade.

Amazing wembley atmosphere

Out of curiosity what is considered the best England home shirt... my vote gets the 2002 world cup shirt also the shirt we beat Germany 5-1 in.

Love our fans are sticking two fingers up to the fa and placing the st georges cross over the woke flag. Thats all nike had to do.

Will Still the guy who basically played football manager to earn him a job in the top level of french league is currently being considered by Sunderland... can they afford the fine each week

You think we're owed a performance tonight but dont hold your breath. Our record against Belgium of late has not been great. I think Kane not being available is a blessing in disguise chance to look at other options and highlight other issues.

Up to boxing day I'd say he had about 99% of the fans support, since then our form dipped and the fans have started to turn which i think has spread down to the players. At times it feels like awkward relationship that Puel had with the fans which certain feed on to the players.

Shows that we're short of keepers when we're having to call up a keeper that's currently at a side that's second from bottom in the premier league. Bet Butland is pretty peed atm.

I don't think an exit is imminent, unless we have a huge run of loses otherwise he'll be here come August no matter what division. TOP I don't think can afford to sack him. Enzo to West Ham in the summer maybe one, to think about. Moyes is yet to commit and could walk himself and does seem like a possible candidate for them.

Yeah sorry Euro 2016, well difference is Conte style of tactics has won him silverware. While Southgate has just a runners up medal to his name.

Easy appointment again for the FA, I swear it's a cost cutting scheme appointing within means less money to fork out. I think all top managers in world football would fancy a crack at the England job, Mourhino admitted turning it down in 2007 was a huge mistake and if offered he would take it, Luiz Felipe Scolari admitted he was quite prepared to leave his job at Portugal to take the England job but was unimpressed of the timing of the approach, they approached during a world cup when Sven was still manager, he asked if the FA to wait till after the tournament to discuss a deal. Fa said no, they wanted his signature there and then. So Scolari declined, but admitted now he really fancied the job and would have taken it if they waited till after the tournament. Antiono Conte I think would be perfect for the job, did a great job with a young Italy squad during the euro 2016. Knows the English league well.

The problem is the FA tend to never to go for best man for the job... they go for someone they can control. Prime example In 1978 and 1982 Brian Clough was by far the best manager in England but was over looked twice. Again in 2012 Redknapp at the time was but again was snubbed. The Fa is ran by political correct snobs. Next England manager will probably be an underwhelming name like a Graham Potter, who lets face it shown at Chelsea he couldn't live up to the pressure of a big club.

Gerrard in a liverpool top was of course class act, England in qualifiers again class act. Major tournaments he was a big let down, he always looked tired and was ready to hit the beach. I do think he was passionate about playing for England but he was physically drained come tournament time especially the demand and role he had at Liverpool. I did hear somewhere that some training sessions Gerrard he needed to miss on advice from physios. Something about he never trained a day before a match.

Still don't get the hype around Connor Gallagher, overrated I think there's options else where across the premier league.

Problem lies a lot of fringe players playing tonight were making their debuts, some probably should have featured a lot sooner and been given more game opportunities and experience. Asking players like Anthony Gordon to face Brazil in their first game in a three lions shirt is a big task. Picking the same XI every international from Southgate shows lack of rotation. Foden again fails to live up to what we see City.

I don't think his natural position, I think at times when he's played at RB for Villa is when Cash is not available. Huge shame Matty Cash choose to take the Polish route, as I think his performances the last two years at Villa would have got him a England call up.

First half was okay, second half non existent.

Just find convenient that all suspects were caught so quickly and happen to be near the ukraine boarder.

Is this possible this attack in moscow was an inside job... give reason for Russia to attack someone else.
-
Well to be honest the club was more his dads project. Top just inherited this club even if he wanted it or not. I do feel a sale is coming within the next two years.
-
Think the lack of red again in the last few years shows its about the fa colours rather than the nations colours. Why don't they just allow vote for the new kit... no one can dispute. Instead its like heres new england kit like or lump... if you like it itll cost £100 to buy it.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
Leicesterpool replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
If we went to premier league and said what punishment are chelsea and man city getting... we'd get no response. Corrupt beyond belief, yes accept our punishment but got to send the same rules to every club. -
Premier League Thread 2023/2024
Leicesterpool replied to Nalis's topic in General Football and Sport
Anyone else think Gareth Southgate going to Man United is a accident waiting to happen 😆 Club like Man United should be challenging for titles what does going for Southgate sound a message of. Man City have Pep, while red side of Manchester have gareth 🤭 how the mighty have fallen. -
England kit looks terrible, no red again. Just like ashamed of own identity. Miss umbro range.

I do feel last five years skeggy as improved. Premier Inn coming into town step the right direction. Already plans for a travelodge aswell which as caused uproar with the guest houses. Id say after the huge fire for about ten years the place was rough. But after alot of rebuilding its looking up.
