Switching to now listening to the championship games on LCFC.com with my earbuds (in bed for the midweek games). No coverage other than PL over here. After the world cup here my two young boys got really interested in football and LCFC (after showing no interest previously). So in March this year i bought them the each a kit. One wanted Barnes on the back, the other Maddison and they sat down and watched all the games with me (with kit on). With LCFC (very likely to) not being in the PL I will have to make an effort to keep them interested in LCFC and not move on to another PL team. My Dad was a LCFC supporter, I have been all my life despite growing up in Australia, and now my kids are just getting started. So for me that is the saddest part of LCFC getting relegated. Anyone know of a subscription streaming service that covers the championship?

Saw him play 4 times at the WC. The thing that impressed me most was his commitment. He threw himself around all over the place and repeatedly to make (sometimes last ditch) tackles or blocks. Whether he could do that week in week out and not get injured i don't know (maybe that's why he had a recent ACL injury). The only criticism i had was given his height he should have done better for Mbappe's third French goal (but it was Mbappe ) . Magnificent pass to pick out Matthew Leckie for Australia's opener in that game though.

Saw all 4 of Australia's games live. Souttar looked solid in all except France where he was beaten a bit too easily (given his height) for the two headed French goals.

Was at the game last night fantastic atmosphere Dutch were poor up until 85 mins (at the 80th minute i was actually considering going home to beat the crowd) anyway should the Agries have lost the place would have been deserted as the only remaining overseas fans are a horde of Argentineans, and smatterings of English (at lot of English fans come from Dubai on gameday) Croats and Portuguese. Other than the Argies, its is the many locally based Moroccan fans (Qatar has quite a large Moroccan expat population) that are keeping the place entertained.

Yesterday i went to the Australia v Denmark game. Shout out to Kasper who after the game had ended, despite his obvious disappoint, went round to each of the Australian players and congratulated them before making his way over to both sets of supporters and applauding them. The only Danish player to do that. Fantastic gesture and shows the class of the man.
