it feels far too early in the legal process to have an idea of what the potential legals costs and compensation could eventually be. It is certainly not a deal ender, but it could complicate the process and make buyers uneasy. Hopefully, it won't be a factor though, as I really want King Power out of here.

I actually can't stand that guy, but I will take him over Top and Rudkin. I remember listening to Talksport months ago and the awful Simon Jordan was recommending that he bought Sheffield Wednesday. I would be surprised if he invested in a League 1 club, but the foundation of the stadium plans and the impressive Seagrave is all there.

As someone posted earlier, it might be a case of one side leaking first, and then the other side trying to get back control of the narrative. Leaking that you are selling could attract more buyers. Leaking that you are the party in talks to takeover the club, puts back pressure on the unpopular owner(s) to sell

I think it would be more complicated than that, but hopefully not enough to put any buyers off.

I thought that too. We potentially have the interested party leaking that they are in talks to apply some pressure, and/or King Power leaking they are for sale to other interested parties.

I agree, but any sort of legal case hanging over a business is never a good thing when trying to sell

I know it is very early days and could just be rumours, but no one can stop me fantasising about a future headline of... 'Rudkin departs Leicester City after sale of the club'

I hope the Leeds case doesn't scare away any potential buyers. That could add some millions to the purchase price down the line, athough I still think that is unlikely.

not 100% guaranteed. There could still be an agreement between Top and the potential new owner for the Manager to get some more players in to help the team with promotion, which ultimately benefits the new owners. We are hardly talking about spending 10s of millions here, it will be loans and free signings/low cost.

King Power have been on the brink of bankrupty for years now. Top and Rudkin have dragged us down to League 1 and shown a level of incompetence that is laughable. I am all in on rolling the dice now with new owners.

If it means getting rid of Top and Rudkin, I really don't care about that right now. I know it will have a negative impact if we have to wait until January to make more signings, but being stuck with King Power is far more detrimental to our longterm future.
